The property is situated in a quiet street in the historic village of Middleton-in-Teesdale, which lies on the Pennine Way, 10 mins drive from Barnard Castle and 5 mins from England's biggest waterfall. A kitchen range & log-burning stove provide a cosy environment. There's a small shared green at the rear and stunning views of North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. NB: Not for party animals!

Indulgent Hideaway with Hot Tub in Durham Dales
Situated beneath an old Elm tree this bespoke Shepherd's Hut is surrounded by wonderful views of Teesdale that can be enjoyed from the comfort of the hut, relaxing in the wood fired hot tub or sitting around the fire pit. This Hut encourages indulgence as well as simple living. Sumptuous interiors, good sized bathroom with a heated towel rail. A generous dining table and comfortable upholstered chairs. Fully equipped bijou kitchen, comfy king sized bed and electric heating for extra cosiness.

Haven Cottage is a self contained detached 2 bed stone cottage in rural Cotherstone near Barnard Castle. You have exclusive use. Set on a quiet lane, the converted stable overlooks open meadows. Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

Unique 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom lower flat converted from an old water mill (circa. 1813). Set on two floors, the ground floor has an excellent, bright, spacious living room with the original cast iron range and a magnificent kitchen with an American sized fridge, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The lower floor has 3 bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room and a unique glazed wall, which provides views into the drive room , which features cog wheels and pulleys. Plus a Games room.

WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views
Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Holmlea is a traditional stone built Dales cottage dating back to the late 1700s situated in the village of Mickleton. Perfect for a couple, the accommodation consists of one bedroom , cosy sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and modern shower room . There is a pretty garden with a bbq area and also a storage shed suitable for storing bicycles. Mickleton is a small village close to both Barnard Castle and Middleton - in - Teesdale .There are good country pubs close by and scenic walks .

This recently converted property is located to the rear of a traditional Victorian terrace, just a stones throw from open countryside and superb pubs. Perfect for couples or single travellers alike, it lies in the heart of Teasdale close to the market town of Barnard Castle. An ideal stop off for the Pennine and Teesdale Way walks and the Coast to Coast. Bijou, beautiful and utterly romantic.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale
Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.
