My husband, friends, and I are truly enamored with Jacob's place. The house is beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and inviting. We always have a wonderful time there. This was our third visit, and we can easily envision many more to come in the future.

We were looking for a quiet family getaway while visiting family in the area - this was the perfect place. The surrounding area was gorgeous, surrounded by fall leaves with a nearby lake to take in. Robert was a generous and responsive host - would absolutely recommend!

Only there for a quick over-nite stay for a memorial for a friend. Ann and Frank built this Air b'n'b purposefully into the lower level of their home when they built it. The apartment is spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. Step out the door to the view of the pond and beautiful countryside. 10 minute drive to quaint county seat of Norwich , NY. with restaurants, shopping, movie theatre, etc. Easy drives to Cooperstown baseball Hall of Fame or Ithaca (Finger Lakes, Cornell University.) We lived in the area for 30 years before moving south to be closer to our grandchildren. It was nice to be "home."

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

I believe one of the best compliments to any AirBnB host is returning to their property: this was our fourth visit to the Clack Cabin, and surely not our last! We love the Clack Cabin for its coziness, comfort, and location. It's a small space, but has absolutely everything one needs. It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with the stream providing such a soothing soundtrack. The Clapper Hollow State Park a few steps away from the cabin has many easy and quiet paths to explore (we had the forest entirely to ourselves on Easter Sunday!). Clara is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful with local tips and knowledge. We already look forward to our next visit!

When I first pulled up to Kliment's, I literally teared up - that's how breath-taking his spot is. It was just what the doctor ordered... if doctors actually treated your mind, body, and soul and not just your body :) Seriously though, Kliment's place was an oasis for me: private, quiet, peaceful, with amazing views of the Catskill mountains. His home itself was beautifully decorated, simple yet super cozy, and had everything I needed and then some. (And the chickens were lovely company as well!) Kliment is one of the best Airbnb hosts I have ever had, hands down. With a very hectic schedule, Kliment was flexible, responsive, kind and patient with accommodating my many change requests and needs throughout my stay. Kliment is not just a wonderful host, but also a truly wonderful person - the world needs more people like him. In short: I can't recommend Kliment's home or him as a host enough! If you are hovering over the "Reserve Now" button, book it!!! You won't regret it! :)

This is a wonderfully quiet location and easy to find. Wendy is an amazing host and is easy to communicate with. 10/10 I’d recommend if you’re looking for a nice cozy and quiet location to kick your feet up.

We had such a nice stay at Lenny’s cabin! We wanted a glamping getaway and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin was clean, cozy, and just like the pictures! We brought food to cook all of our meals and the cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds were cozy and the shower was hot! We spent hours around the fire pit and loved how quiet, remote, and beautiful the area was. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay at Lenny’s cabin again!

Scott & Ina's place is just AWESOME!! One of the rare places where everything looks as good as the pics! They were OUTSTANDING hosts. Always responsive and always looked to make you as comfortable as possible. The place is beautiful and the views are gorgeous!! We booked the place for a 29th anniversary...so WORTH IT!!! Would love to stay here again.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Kat's cottage and experience the beautiful Adirondack autumn- the views were spectacular and the cottage was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, easy access to Owl Head for hiking, as well as the isolation to relax and enjoy the foliage. The cottage was quaint and well stocked, with plenty of outdoor space and a warm, cozy interior. We will definitely consider staying again the next time we're looking for a beautiful weekend getaway!

If you are looking for a place to relax and be surrounded by nature you can’t go wrong by choosing Molly’s cottage. The view is beautiful and it’s so peaceful . Inside the cottage you have everything what you need. I will definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

The Heron cabin was an amazing weekend getaway! Close to the Baseball hall of fame, but far enough out to be away from the noise and crowds. The cabin was clean and comfortable and is a great place to relax!

I recently stayed at a Lakeview cabin and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, with stunning views of the lake right from the porch. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway for relaxation. The amenities were great, and everything was clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serene retreat in nature. Henry was exceptional! He was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the warm welcome to the helpful recommendations for local activities, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Henry's hospitality truly made our stay special.

Second time staying at the cabin! Truly such a peaceful and special place. Lots of privacy and quiet - the views in the cabin itself are lovely. No WiFi and very minimal cell service, which is a huge plus for me. A great place for a weekend retreat. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Jason’s place. We absolutely love everything about it. It’s just a great place to escape to. Cozy, clean, naturalistic space to unwind. We will be back again very soon!

Had a very nice stay. The view and surroundings are what makes this place special. I was not entirely ready to glamp so probably wouldn’t get this for just one night again. Host was very nice. Bed was not very comfortable and that’s coming from someone who likes firm mattresses.

Great little spot. Everything is super well labeled and easy to follow. They had everything we needed to make a pizza which was a surprise to us both. I also really needed q tips for like a week and all of the other Airbnbs hadn’t had them and then when we got here, they had them! Heroes. They’ve thought of all of the little things and that’s what makes them great!

Carol and Jeff were fantastic hosts and their cabin on the lake was exactly what my wife and I were expecting for our baby moon. The property on Sixth Lake was just far enough from town to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough to get a bite to eat, do some shopping, and pick up any needed grocery items. Carol and Jeff provided perfect communication and the house had everything. Oh, and can’t forget the cookies, which were the best. Sean and Katie
