Mountain View Acres Getaway

Enjoy nature in a beautiful peaceful setting with 100 acres of privately owned property. Breathtaking panoramic views spanning 45 miles in a tranquil natural spot with hiking trails throughout. Handicap accessible. Within a short drive of 2 major ski resorts, the Flight 93 Memorial and 2 wineries. Several restaurants and a brewery also within a 15 minute drive. The property includes an outside firepit that is a favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Historic Eden Ranch, built 1837

Built in 1837, this three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath farmhouse sitting on 110 acres along Will Creek, the start of Wills Knob with Wills Mountain to the south was first transacted in 1728 when a Shawnee Indian known as "Will" sold 1000 acres to Benjamin Tomlinson for $30 and an old Rifle. This 110 acres was part of that 1000 acres! Farmhouse is registered in the Maryland Historic Society and has been restored to original floors from 1837 and original staircase and living room walls. Escape to Mount Savage Farm in the Allegheny Mountains of Western MD. Relax and soak in the serenity of an 100 acre farm. The farm is a destination in itself with an indoor pool, hot tub, patio with grill and fire pit, and plenty of space to wander and watch wildlife. For ski enthusiasts, Wisp, Seven Springs and Hidden Valley ski resorts are all within driving distance. There is direct access to the GAP trail, a premier hiking/biking trail. The scenic RR also passes through the property.

Log Cabin

The primary bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the secondary bedroom includes a full-size bed. The living area is equipped with a sleeper sofa for extra sleeping space, and the loft adds two twin mattresses for additional accommodations, ideal for kids. The cabin’s kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including an oven and refrigerator and microwave. Whether you're enjoying time indoors or exploring the outdoors, this cabin offers the perfect balance of comfort and adventure.

You will have your own entrance to the spacious 2 bedroom living space in the downstairs of our home. The cabin is a great place to call home while enjoying several nearby interest points such as The Great Allegheny Passage, New Germany State Park, Rocky Gap State Part, Deep Creek Lake and much more!
