Great value stay in a great location, close to all amenities in Aviemore

We have stayed in this property before - it is very well maintained - easy to get to and parking. The location looking out to the sea one side and the marina the other is idillic. Kevin is a great host - highly recommend if you are that end of the country. Highly recommended

The flat was so comfortable, and the ornaments & artwork really made it feel like a home. Lynne had thoughtfully left essentials in the fridge, plus some treats, which was very kind. Being able to look out on the harbour and to sea was lovely. It's also scarily convenient for the Harbour Lights Cafe (scary if you're watching your weight!) All in all, a wonderful, relaxing stay. Highly recommend it.

First class apartment, very clean, cosy and well equipped. Enjoyed our stay very much, easy walk to beach, golf course and river view from sitting room window. Good base for the area, day trips to Inverness, Black Isle and lots of good suggestions from Sheena. Lovely coastline, hope to return again.

Jane was just great, so helpful and accommodating. The flat was beautifully clean and worked brilliantly for us visiting our friend. We had the most fabulous weather and loved our early morning walks on the beach. We will definitely be back!

This is by far the best place we’ve stayed in Findhorn. The views of the bay and beach were breathtakingly Less than a minute walk to the Crown & Anchor and the Kimberley. A 5 minute to the beach and the Captains table . Amazing place , we loved the accommodations as the dogs who were super relaxed . We couldn’t ask for any better . Thank you Jill

Stayed here while studying minke whales (or lack there of until May-ish) and dolphins in the area. Kiddos will probably love the bunny coat hanger. I stayed in the top bedroom which is the one next to the bathroom, a nice place and the bed is soft :)

Lovely little place in the most peaceful of locations. Modern and well kept interiors, extremely comfortable and everything needed was thought of. A brilliant home away from home. A short 10 min walk to the dreamy beach and a lovely little garden to sit out in when the weather is fine. Kenny was super friendly and made it so easy. Highly recommend, we’ll be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Stittenham, a well appointed house in lovely grounds. It was ideally located to explore Easter Ross and Sutherland, and within easy access of the West. A great stay !

Great stay at this fantastic house. Party of nine with dog. Three generations all enjoyed the space and the beautiful surroundings. Perfect that each room has an en-suite. Plenty of room for cooking in kitchen and two fridges. Selection of spaces to socialise or have time to yourself. Everyone found the house very relaxing and great to be able to bring dog.

The cottage is lovely and spacious, clean and cozy. Host is good to deal with and very responsive. Sandend is a great place, nice and quiet. The cottage is very convenient for the beach. It’s right next to a path to the beach which is great for walks or watching the surfing.

My colleagues who were staying here whilst working in the area passed on their positive feedback. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay here. Thanks again!

This was the perfect family holiday location, the house had everything and more than we needed. You could walk to the beach from the house in 2 minutes. The beach was perfect for leisurely toddler strolls and evening runs. We cannot wait to plan our next trip, this home is an absolute gem of a find and we hope to return soon. The flat was warm , comfortable and quiet. It was nicely presented and well equiped. We felt completely at home and got a timely response to any questions. We had a lovely few days away over Christmas and Margaret had made a special effort with seasonal decoration which was much appreciated .

Aurelie and David are truly wonderful hosts! The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the pictures — no surprises, just exactly what we were hoping for. It was perfectly prepared for us in advance in the configuration we needed, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly require. The Nespresso machine was an especially appreciated touch — mornings just aren’t the same without a good coffee to start the day! We also noticed (and appreciated) the whiskey set out on the console — a lovely gesture, even though we only had a small taste. Thank you so much, Aurelie and David, for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-appointed place hosted by truly thoughtful people.

Such a lovely place, only wish we’d spent more time. This property is a benchmark for others, everything crafted to perfection. I could write a huge list of well thought out things in this home. It’s also located in a nice place away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of walking trails, and we were lucky to have good weather. Thanks Dave and Sally. Keep it up and take care!

David and Lisa's place has everything you need for a cozy, quiet stay in the Highlands. The place is spotless, and they put a lot of effort in the details: we even had a small Christmas tree for our stay during the winter holidays, which was a lovely detail for us. We were warmly welcomed both, by them in person and by lovely details inside, like homemade bread and local dairy products. All products provided (like the shower gel, etc.) were great quality Scottish products, showing their support to local industries and shops. They are also keen on recycling and composting, which was a plus for us. As hosts, they were always responsive and helpful, but you barely noticed or heard them nor the dogs, which are two lovely gentle giants. Definitely a place to go back to!

Lisa kept in touch throughout our stay and really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We only stayed a couple of nights but it would be an ideal location for a longer stay too. The massive kitchen and dining area was the soul of our stay. We sat there and chatted around the massive table. The bedrooms were immaculate and the multitude of WCs meant no one was left dancing in the hall waiting for one to be free. The location is ideal too. It doesn’t get any more central. We really needed somewhere to base ourselves for our stay, somewhere we could retreat to and not feel like we were falling over each other and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a gem.

The Old Icehouse is anything but cold. Beautifully presented apartment with everything you need for your vacation. Lots to do in the area. Having the beach just across the road was perfect. We were treated to amazing sunsets almost nightly. The walk up the coast to Tarbat Ness is worth doing.

Clean and well maintained accommodation and had all essentials in excellent working order.

Good location in central Nairn, walkable to local cafes and restaurants. Excellent value, priced about right for the accommodation. Great comms throughout from host and excellent instructions. Ideal for a golf break when visiting the area.
