River Camp 4 rustic simplicity & private shoreline

Rustic riverfront camp on the Mohawk. A camp like when you used to visit grandma at the lake. Full kitchen and bathroom, cute bedroom, relaxing porch with full window view of the river. Private backyard, fire pit and gas grill. Free kayaks/tubes on property. 24 minutes to Saratoga and 12 mins to any store or restaurant you could want. Chairs on the river overlook the Twin Bridges. This is a quirky camp - so best to book only if you know the different between a camp and a luxury property.

The Writer's Cottage

The Writer's Cottage is a tiny white house on a country road; vintage, complete, and inspiring. Built in the nineteenth century, it's perfect for a solo traveler or a pair of travelers exploring the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. If you like rustic buildings, you'll be a fan of the cottage; it's an incredibly cozy time warp. Queen bed and living quarters downstairs; airy loft up a narrow set of enclosed stairs. There's an orchard and lawn with grill, hammock and ironwork table.

Overlooking beautiful Burden Lake, the gem of the Rensselaer Plateau, Hummingbird Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable, adorable vacation home. Famous for clear water and year-round fishing, Burden Lake is the largest lake in Rensselaer County. Kayaks & canoes are provided. Centrally located 20 min from Albany, 40 min from Saratoga, 30 min from the Berkshires, & a 1 mile paddle to Kay’s Pizza! See eagles, ospreys, and, yes, hummingbirds! This four bedroom apartment is in an historic Hudson riverfront colonial mansion built by oilcloth baron and philanthropist Deborah Ball Powers in the early 19th century. The apartment has a full kitchen and dining are downstairs and upstairs four bedrooms. It sits on 2 acres of Hudson river waterfront - comes with shared use of canoes, croquet or badminton and other games for the lawn. Our lake house is on Glass Lake in Averill Park, NY. In case you want to venture off, it is close to Saratoga (race season!), the Berkshires MA, Albany NY, and Vermont. Incredibly private with spacious property. Our lake house is great for families with kids and couples, and handicap accessible. It is great for any season (leaves, skiing, fishing, swimming). Kayaks, row boat.....and the lake!! Booking guest must be at least 25 years old.
