Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

A quiet and comfortable chalet, with gas central heating and everything needed for a relaxing stay. With excellent WiFi and off-road parking, and in the heart of Suffolk. A 7.5 Kw EV charging point is available, with costs based on usage and electricity cost. In the pleasant village of Great Waldingfield, with a pub, village shop, and close to Sudbury (3 miles), Lavenham (4 miles), Bury St. Edmunds(16 miles). The Barn has been welcoming guests since 2012 and has recently been renovated to modernise and brighten the home. It was previously listed on AirBnB as Garden Lodge. Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

Centrally located to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Honeybee is within walking distance of the delightful village of Cavendish, a short drive to Long Melford, Clare and historic Lavenham with its famous timber-framed houses and just 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Honeybee is a well-equipped end of terrace. The village has a pub boasting delicious home-cooked food, a Chinese, fish and chip shop and social club along with two mini supermarkets, and pharmacy.

No77 High Street is a pretty, grade II listed cottage ideally placed to walk to all attractions within historic Lavenham. A few doors down from a Coop - well stocked with provisions for your stay. Recently completely refurbished, all furnishings are new, including new beds with SIMBA mattresses, top quality bed linen and towels. To the rear is a terrace - a sheltered spot for breakfast al-fresco. It has a lockable rear entrance for secure cycle and pushchair storage. Car park 100m away.

The Old Meeting House is a beautiful, quirky and lovingly restored Grade II listed cottage just off the Market Place in the historic village of Bildeston. It is thought to be one of the oldest buildings still standing in the village, at one time a medieval council meeting house during the height of the East Anglian wool trade. With an array of period features, and nestled in the tranquility of the Suffolk countryside, it is a place to relax, recuperate, unwind and explore.

The downstairs space includes a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom and the upstairs has a cosy living space with log burner and bedroom.

The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a charming self contained annex to the front of our property with free parking on premises. Situated in a quiet location near The Grange Hotel and within approx half of a mile walking distance into Thurston Village. We live in the main house which is attached to the annex with our two quiet dogs. We are generally on hand to help with any questions or advise on the local area.
