We welcome guests to experience our peaceful, wooded 30 acre property located in the foothills of Nevada County. Sugarloaf Madrone Studio is tucked into the slope of Sugarloaf Mountain, overlooking the 7 Hills of Nevada City. It is a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown restaurants, arts, and nightlife. Despite its proximity, you will feel like you are in the country with pastoral views, local parks, and a quiet neighborhood. You will share the house with a totally separate apartment on the ground level. The Madrone Studio is great for rest, relaxation, and being close to nature.

Feather Landing

The Feather is a peaceful space for two located on a quiet, wooded road 1.3 miles from town. Luxuriate in deep sleep on the finest, king-sized, 18” mattress. In the fall and winter you will hear the great horned owls singing through the night. Enjoy simple meals, a cozy reading nook and a hot shower. As hosts we strive to be in harmony with the land. We use only natural, scent-free cleaners, organic cotton linens and organic coffee and teas.
