Located across the street from the Bay with stunning views, beach access close by. San Quentin is a little-known gem of a historic town and will be a memorable place to stay. No kitchen access or fridge/microwave.

Central San Rafael studio near downtown, SF, Napa

This lovely studio is a short drive (or walk) to downtown San Rafael, about 20 minutes from San Francisco, and about 30-40 minutes from Napa and Sonoma. We are located on a hill in a safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and walking trails nearby. Please note: The road to our house from the main street (Lincoln Avenue) is 1/3 of a mile and is narrow and winding. There is also some light freeway noise. There is plenty of street parking (no restrictions) in front of the house.

Studio apartment close to trails and town

Our place is great for folks who love the outdoors, music, small town charm. We are around the corner from a famous mountain bike trail. A 10-20 minute walk takes you from one end of our town to the other. Including the best ever organic ice cream shop, a deluxe health food store, live music, brew pubs. Fairfax is a destination town with fun boutiques, drop-in yoga, eclectic restaurants including an exotic tea salon, and hundreds of cyclists touring through. Maximum stay: 6 nights.

Diamond House: private guest suite in nature

Diamond House is a mid-century modern hillside home in a nature-filled setting at the end of a quiet, winding cul-de-sac. The attached guest suite has a private entry separate from the main house, spacious bedroom with sitting area, window AC, and en-suite bath. From the small private deck you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the quiet, natural setting while watching for the neighborhood family of deer. Any and all guests who appreciate quiet and nature are welcome.

Beautiful Studio on lower level of our family home within walking distance to downtown San Rafael. Custom kitchen and bathroom with shower. The outdoor patio area is just for guests and is a great spot to sit in the evenings. Although we recommend a car - we are close to bus and ferry routes to San Francisco. Perfectly situated for hiking, mountain biking or trips to Napa Valley. Strictly no pets because of host’s allergies. There are stairs from street to the entrance.
