A charming little wooden house by the sea

This quirky attractive vintage little cottage is perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing in idyllic surroundings. Just a few metres from the lovely pebbly Gurnard beach, this fully refurbished historical little wooden building is set back from the road and tucked away behind our wild garden. It is accessed from its own car parking space via a little path. At the rear, a small stream goes to the sea and a large oak tree provides shelter to birds and a relaxing swing seat.

There are many scenic coastal paths nearby leading to places such Bonchurch, Steephill Cove and St Lawrence.

Our beautiful spacious apartment in Hambrough Road has been completely renovated and is situated in a lovely location in the town of Ventnor. It is perfect for a short break or for longer stays. It looks directly out to sea over the road and wall in front. It’s in the most ideal location in that the beach and town are literally two minutes walk away. Relax and enjoy your stay at this unique and tranquil getaway. 'Adventure Prospect' has recently been completely renovated and is steeped in military history. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines. The cottage provides an ideal escape from everyday life and has direct access to the water.
