We would like to share our forest with you. Take a walk and learn of the history behind La Honda's Woodwardia Lodge built in 1913. Walk on private 150 year old logging trails at this historic getaway. Enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding Redwood forest. Cozy up in a 40' New 2024 RV. Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

Once you're settled, it's just a short stroll to watch the sunset from the beach.

Coastal Cottage Guest House

Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides, similar to adjoining hotel rooms. The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.
