Enjoy a comfortable balance of rustic and elegant in this cozy studio retreat in the Catskill Mountains of NY, midway between the lovely towns of Woodstock and Phoenicia. Queen bed, kitchen, closet, beautiful light, private deck with forest views. In January 2026, we refurbished this apartment with soundproofing insulation. No pets. This includes service animals. This listing is not suitable for children or infants. No smoking or vaping.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Whether you want to read, write or just kick back this is a sweet spot both inside and out. It’s close to hiking trails, the Hudson River, Esopus, the Catskills, Windham skiing. If you want, or need, there’s an abundance of shopping within a 15 mile radius - from thrift stores to big stores. Great food abounds in this beautiful area. There’s no kitchen, yet there’s a mini fridge and freezer as well as a coffee maker and electric kettle.

Private entrance into a stylish, cozy upstairs studio in artist's mid-century home near The Ashokan Reservoir. The Catskills are the destination for hiking, art, skiing, swimming or checking out the local food scene and breweries - all within minutes. Guests have the second floor to the home with no shared spaces with host. Outdoor seating with grill, barn with bocci and other yard games. King size bed, day bed with plush bedding. Spacious new bathroom with tiled shower and skylight.

Large private studio in gorgeous country! Comfortably sleeps 4. Queen bed & pull out sofa bed-memory foam mattress, private bathroom/shower. BASIC kitchenette: Mini-fridge/freezer, Microwave, Countertop oven/toaster (no hot plate/no stove top!) Blender, Keurig machine, free coffee & tea. Wine opener, can opener, bowls, plates, cutlery, glasses & mugs. 1 towel per person, bed linens. Soap & shampoo. Charcoal grill available.! NO TV! Free charcoal. Studio is adjacent to owner's house.

The Carriage House: Garden Apartment

We offer a private apartment located on the first floor of this wonderfully restored 2 unit carriage house, built in the early roarin' 20's! It offers a blend of modern decor and amenities, with more traditional countryside accents. The design, using the original carriage doors in the architecture, allows light to pour through the apartment, while making adjustments for sleeping in easy. This truly unique space is a perfect place to take a weekend to relax, and even enjoy our grounds!

Newly built apartment steps from Mohonk preserve.

Nestled amongst the trees below Bonticou Crag this is a great base camp for climbing, hiking and biking. Five minutes from New Paltz; I do recommend having a car to access the area. Shared yard and fire pit right outside. My family and I live in the main part of the house. The outside area and house are still under construction, I’m working on it but its not put together yet. The apartment and inside area are clean and newly built with their own mini split and air circulation.

You'll have the 2nd floor of a 2-story house, bordered by majestic trees, all to yourself, including a private entrance. Excellent biking and hiking trails are within steps of the house; more hiking, swimming, and rock climbing are a short drive away.

Sunny and Spacious Studio - a serene getaway

Modern Light Filled Garage Conversion with a small kitchen, full bath with an open deck off the back. A beautiful quiet spot with birds, tall trees and a small creek on 3 acres. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with a small ladder to a little sleeping loft for the kids. There is also a pull out couch in the open kitchen living room area with a deck off the back. This is a small apartment attached to our house that has been designed with care and privacy in mind.

Guest suite in home of long-time Woodstock artist and resident. Separate entrance off 2nd story deck with meadow and mountain views. Space has everything you need for a retreat away from it all – a meditation nook for 2, yoga mats to use inside or out on the deck, hot tub to soak cares away and relax after a day out and about in the beautiful Catskill mountains. Hot tub is in 3-acre backyard with privacy enclosure, so bathing suits are optional (we provide bathrobes.)

If you are lucky you may see a bald eagle fly by or perhaps catch a glimpse of Sopie the harbor seal who sometimes plays off shore

The entrance is separate/private. This is a luxury escape. The central location positions you near everything!

Relax and unwind in our bright and private 2BR apartment located at the edge of Unison Arts Center’s sculpture garden (paths through woods and fields). A mile from New Paltz on the way to Mohonk Preserve, this simple but comfortable space features work by local artists and regional photographs. One of the bedrooms has an additional half-bathroom with a hand-made mosaic. Guests have their own entrance.
