The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

The house had everything we needed (and way more bedrooms since the we e were only two of us). It would be perfect for a large family or 3-4 couples. Stove, (great) refrigerator, coffee maker etc were all very nice. The neighbothood is nice - peaceful, well kept up and friendly. The internet was quite fast and never faltered at either of two work stations.

Perfect home for the needs of our families. We were in town for a football tournament. Pool was fun bonus for the kids. John was very responsive. We’d stay again.

We had such a wonderful time at Mark and Nichole's place. Harstine Island is a gorgeous and peaceful place. But, the kids enjoyed playing inside nearly as much as searching for crabs on the beach. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bathrooms were spotless, and the toys were top-notch (I can hear the squeals of joy from upstairs still). We even took the canoe out for a little bit. Such a great way to spend time with our visiting family!

A new, lovely home in its 'own tranquil setting. Squeaky clean. Nicely appointed. Wonderful deck hot tub. Even had coffee provided for the morning! Ryan quickly responded to all my texts and was very understanding when we accidentally left with one of his gate keys. Oopsie! I would recommend this home to anyone looking for an experience in a peaceful home in a beautiful, forested community. The deer standing at the gate were an extra bonus!

My friends and I had the best time here ! Lots of comfortable hang out spaces , lots to do, and we are already trying to find what our next trip back is going to be. Wish we stayed for another day

My boyfriend and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway here. There were all the appliances you could think of then some!! That’s a big deal when you love to cook. The hot tub was amazing and pretty clean which was a huge plus. Tons of special little features you’ll just have to see for yourself. We will definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed staying at Jenny's place, the listing is super accurate and it really had everything you could wish for! The communication with Jenny was great, the check-in process effortless, the location amazing and the house overcomplete - every ingredient for a great stay. Would come again and highly recommend!

I really came for the kitties and they did not disappoint- absolute snugglebugs!! The property is lovely, everything as described. It was so nice to have some peace and quiet, and to kayak.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Emily and Shannon's place. There was just the right amount of space for our family of four and our two boys felt very special having a bedroom and a big bed to themselves. The house itself is very private with a lovely fenced in yard. It's full of character and decorated in a French country style with soft paint colors throughout. We only wish we had longer than two nights. If we are ever back in Tacoma we will definitely stay again. The complementary bottle of wine was a very nice touch too!

Close to highway and downtown. Quiet and good for rest.

We stayed here for a weekend in April and found it very relaxing. There is a pizza place and a small market practically across the street. The view of the bay was beautiful and we even saw orcas swimming on Sunday morning. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for six people (including four teenagers).

Very scenic view felt like home. made my kids felt welcome had alot of fun.

We enjoyed our time at Scott’s place in Bremerton. The house is spacious enough for two families, or like ours, one family and each kid gets their own room. Check in and check out were smooth. The neighborhood is peaceful and extremely quiet. A quick drive from lots of shops. Thanks so much!

One of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in! A little piece of heaven. Incredible views of the water and yard from every room in the house. Plentiful toys books and games for the kids- we didn’t even turn on the tv. The kitchen was a dream to cook in- very well stocked. Comfortable beds and linens very thoughtfully curated. Matt’s home is a treasure.

The main home is absolutely lovely with phenomenal views. Everything is well stocked with books and kitchen gadgets, as well as outdoor seating and firewood. The apartment is very spacious and fully stocked. Recommend guests purchase shellfish licenses for oyster harvesting prior to arrival and head down the hill at low tide. Also bring binoculars for bird watching. There are a couple of bald eagles that made regular appearances. We are already planning another trip for next year!

Anita's and Frank's place is great for a getaway. Entirely picturesque Pacific Northwest. We really enjoyed our stay. Anita was very responsive and helpful. The house is clean and well-equipped. We took a short drive to Dosewallips State Park for a short hike, and then went to Hamma Hamma for some great Oysters and a beer. We would gladly do it all again.

Lori's home was just that... a home away from home. Our bed was so comfortable - I actually want to ask her what kind of mattress she has there because I want one now! Everything was warm and cozy and a perfect time of respite from an otherwise busy life. We woke to several deer in the yard, including a buck! Even though it was cold and a bit rainy, it was the perfect backdrop to relax and take in a slower pace. The little market up the street had most of the basics if you did need anything that was not already supplied. However, Lori's home is STOCKED with all sorts of goodies and staples. It really was such a wonderful stay. She was also very clear on what she expected in regards to house rules and check-in/check-out procedures. They were not only reasonable but easy to follow. All-in-all, it was a lovely trip and I hope that she will have us back another time. Definitely visit! I'd like to see what its like in the Spring/Summer!

We really enjoyed our stay in Justin's large cozy home! The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and all the beds were super comfortable! My kids loved the huge expansive backyard, and enjoyed the water guns and silly string supplied for them. Justin was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was super responsive, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home!

Rented this hood canal gem to beat the winter blues with some friends and celebrate a birthday. Absolutely gorgeous views and spacious place! Lots of room to hang out and a great layout. We brought our own firewood and enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit. Perfect for a group!

It was so enjoyable to be right on the shore of Hood Canal. We saw otters hunting and eating just 20 feet from the shore and even a harbor seal. The neighbors are friendly, too.

This is our second time staying at the house! And it was every bit as wonderful as the first. It is perfectly situated to be private and quiet, but a short trip to downtown Shelton, which has a growing variety of great restaurants and amenities. The house itself was perfect for our race team, plenty of space for everyone, perfectly appointed kitchen to cook for everyone and enough spaces for people to be in in the downtime. Pair all of that with some of the best hosts we have ever had and this place gets 5 stars all the way! You can guarantee that we will be back in the future!

The house is very nice and very comfortable and the kitchen is truly outfitted to prepare and serve a holiday feast for 12 people.
