This getaway was perfect! The hut was beautiful from the inside and the outside, cozy and spacious and clean. The view was amazing and it was very private and peaceful. Tom was a great host, friendly and responded to our messages in a timely manner. The hottub was easy to heat up, and the instructions we were given were very helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough — we had the best weekend ever!

Beautiful location, friendly hosts, spotlessly clean and great facilities. Also an added bonus being right next to the alpaca farm, a welcome extra that was massively appreciated by our 8 year old ! We will be back 🙂

My partner and I stayed here 14th-17th April 2025. We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere quiet and secluded where we could relax and recharge. And the place did just that. Beautiful surroundings. Frankie and Jonathan were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, always on hand should we have needed them. Even had to ask if they had paracetamol one evening, and they brought it over for us, thank you. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the hot tub was divine, and they had it ready for us every evening. Everything was catered for, tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be coming back for if you’ll have us. 10/10.

Loved the stay, had the fire pit and BBQ on the go all the time. Had a great time with some beautiful weather and clear evening sky's for star gazing. Deffo would recommend.

The place was amazing! Nothing else could have made it better at all, it had everything we needed. The interior was perfect along with the natural light from the skylight windows. The views from the hot-tub were a nice touch and it is a place worth the visit. The host greeted us as soon as we came and was extremely helpful and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place!

We returned to The Drey following our original visit in December 24 for a different experience, in a different season, and we were not disappointed again. We had the best time in the hot tub and feeding the squirrels and birds. Richard was incredibly responsive and dealt with any issues we had promptly and efficiently. Thanks for another great weekend at The Drey!

Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend away. Troy was the perfect host. He had decorated the cabin for a special occasion and couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was so peaceful and had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is wanted to book for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway. Will be back

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. We've just got back from 4 nights in the beautiful cabin. Sharon and David were so friendly and helpful, from initially booking all the way through to when we had to sadly say goodbye. The cabin is exactly as described and the views and surrounding areas are magnificent. We had lots of lovely days out exploring the area, but really loved coming back to the cabin and relaxing in the hot tub and soaking in the surroundings. We would love to return and have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you for the warm hospitality and sharing this beautiful part of your home with us.

A truly relaxing break. The cabin is very cosy and comfortable, on the grounds of the main farm built cleverly kept private. For example, we didnt feel we would disturb anyone while enjoying a fire in the garden of an evening with our speaker playing. Very easy to find and well signposted, we arrived to find loads of thoughtful bits and bobs had been left out for us and our dog was made extremely welcome too! Claire and her family (plus the dogs and her horses) were really chilled and friendly, managing to be very welcoming and attentive whilst also managing a trip to A&E. The setting is peaceful and secluded. The private garden is enclosed which made letting the dog out at night a dream without having to worry that he’d bog off and find trouble 😆 Everything was very clean, thoughtfully put together, comfy and charming. Robins nesting in the woodshed and chickens gently clucking nearby, a beautiful view and everything we needed. Wild love to come again and highly recommend

Lovely small country cabin with all amenities. Quiet and peaceful. Easy to find if you follow Carole’s ‘explicit’ instructions.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. Chris and her husband were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Our dog Stan got on well with their dog Percy. Well positioned for visiting Northumberland and Scottish border towns. Wonderful dog friendly beaches. Definitely on our list to return. Kevin, Anne and Stanley.

This cabin is the perfect Cornwall retreat. It’s even better in real life. The welcome basket Amanda created for us had homemade jam, cookies and scones for us in. It was clean and modern with a very well equipped kitchen. The whole place felt very modern. The setting is stunning - on very peaceful private grounds, perfect for my doggo to run around happily. The terrace was the perfect spot for a sunrise cup of tea. We even enjoyed a couple of BBQs. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Amanda is lovely, and helpful. The check in and check out was so easy with a lockbox. We will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

Enjoyed our stay at vale of york and found the accommodation very pleasant. Location is a short drive from the centre of York and not too expensive for taxis.

This property exceeded my expectations. Located in such a peaceful setting amongst the trees the cabin was so warm and cosy had everything we needed. In walking distance to the village had a lovely meal at the clockhouse gorgeous food! Will definitely come stay here again!

Fantastic spot to enjoy Saundersfoot and Pembrokeshire, the private garden being a highlight & wonderful place to unwind after a day out. Very comfortable cabin with everything you might need. Richard was very welcoming and helpful, we wish we'd stayed longer!

Words can't adequately describe how beautiful everything was. The setting is tranquil serene and idyllic. Spending time in nature watching geese and goslings on the water, herds of deer in the woodlands, and listening to an owl during the night was magical. We walked the many paths lined with bluebells that meandered through the woodlands. So much care and love has gone into providing this retreat from the world and we feel very privileged and grateful to have been able to experience it for four amazing days. We only went out once - no need to leave it is a piece of heaven. Thank you to everyone who made this possible for us. We are so very grateful.

First of all very welcoming host he had prepped everything honestly anything you need is in a cabin! Outside very beautiful view drinking coffee in a morning and listening birds chirping is something else. There is a little public footpath through ,,woods” if you ever wanna say Hi to sheep. Overall if you love nature you will love it here! Inside the cabin just as beautiful, windows to the nature gives off a good vibe if you never tried heating blanket its amazing to use right before bed time you will love, this cabin is gonna stay forever in my mind for sure thanks Hal!

Super Easter weekend getaway with the kids. The mobile home is as described, spotless, really well equipped (kitchen etc is a home from home) and communication with Laurence was great - offering flexibility on check in and check out etc. The park itself is great, although we didn’t explore it as much as we could as there is just so much to do in the area and Kelling Heath is a perfect base. Only drawback we found was no WiFi and our phone provider seemed to have absolutely no coverage in the spot where the mobile home is (max 2G), so we were almost without any internet. Nice in many ways to disconnect but did make things complicated for planning our days out with young kids etc. Not a major deal though. All in all a really great stay - kids are asking when we can go back!

Rachel was a great host. Brilliant communication and clear instructions for check in. the cabin was just as described and perfect for our family of four plus pooch. Quiet, warm and cosy...comfy sofa and nice non-stick pots and pans :) Doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch! The holiday village as a wider environment is a clean and peaceful place, play park for the kids and lovely local walks. Site shop is great for emergency essentials. Shame the pub at the top of the hill burned down..I remember it as a kid when I came to the Lodges...hopefully it will be rebuilt one day! Cafe looked great, we didn't manage to go in to eat but a brilliant view from the decking :) Thank you Rachel, we really enjoyed our stay! ;)

The moment I met Rebecca nothing was too much hassle, I got a message on the morning of my check in asking for a rough ETA, that was so the tub was perfect and up to temps. The pod was lovely and clean, fairly basic but exactly what we needed. The pups settled straight in and some amazing walks nearby, salty dog etc. after our walk we needed to top the heat up and even at gone 8pm nothing was too much trouble as we struggle to get the fire lit again for the tub, so her son came out to show us once again. The toilets were clean and presentable. No noise on the campsite and everybody was pleasant. Honestly it was perfect , Thankyou
