From the initial booking through to the time we were leaving, both Marion and John were perfect hosts. Nothing was a bother. The accommodation was lovely, and had everything we wanted. On arrival we were greeted with everything you want from tea, coffee, milk to bread butter and preserves. We even had some lovely treats including shortbread, tablet (the sweet scottish kind) and fudge. John did try to give us a nip of whisky but all we wanted was a cup of tea. But don’t be fooled , we got our nips on Sunday. Very much appreciated. If you haven’t been to Oban, then go. You wont be stuck for things to, Marion and John, could give you ideas to last a month, never mind a weekend. Ps, when walking into town, the 144 or was it 145, steps are quicker but the lane is easier. We will be back.

Ideal accommodation for Padstow and surrounding areas. Easy to get to local beaches, bays and villages. Great accommodation has everything you need and Jo was a really helpful, friendly host. Would recommend!

Our stay was amazing! The house was spotless and we had a lovely time here! The coastal walk to Stackpole is great and a pint at Jack's was a very welcome reward at the end of the day! Would definitely recommend!

This was the best little place to stay just outside of Aberdeen. Close enough to restaurants, far enough away from the city. We would absolutely stay here again!

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

our second visit to this chalet. is a lovely peaceful location and just as described. everything needed is provided including bed linen, towels, toilet and kitchen roll. Bed is lovely and comfortable. if a peaceful, restful break is what you're after would definitely recommend 👌

Excellent place and great host. Everything was as described and shown in pictures. Andi was very informative about everything we needed to know and I wouldn't have hesitated to contact him if we needed any help with anything as he is really responsive but we was already given all the info we needed to get on with enjoying our stay. We had a fantastic long weekend in the chalet, it's a lovely place with plenty of space for our family and in a great location. We can't wait to go back.

We had a great stay at Iain’s charming cabin, he provided clear instructions before arrival for check in and some additional directions to find the place. When we arrived the cabin was very clean with all listed amenities available and everything topped up such as fire wood. Half way through our stay there was an electrical issue in the area which caused a power outage. Iain was quick to respond and try his best to get everything going again, when it became apparent this wouldn’t be until the following day he booked alternative accommodation for us and then welcomed us back into the cabin the following day. These things can’t be helped but Iain dealt with the situation in the best way possible which is all you can ask for. Once the fire is roaring the cabin becomes so cosy and a perfect place to return back to after exploring the Scottish countryside. Coupled with a comfy bed and an amazing view to wake up to you really can’t go wrong with a relaxing getaway here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tranquil Chalet. The beds & pillows are so comfortable, fresh clean linen & towels. Kitchen well equipped. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you

Really lovely stay at Colbury lodge, thank you Olya! The Lodge was perfect for a family with young children as was very safe and well equipped. The lodge was spotless and had a very homely feel. The hot tub was a great bonus too! Olya couldn’t have been a nicer host and very helpful with her local knowledge. A couple of small, cosmetic maintenance jobs would have made the lodge perfect but they didn’t effect us in any way. Overall would definitely recommend and would love to revisit!

Beautiful place to stay, with fantastic views of the bay. Easily walkable to the on site facilities, which were very good. Very well equipped property, with everything you need for a peaceful break away.

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

The Manor Party Lodge was perfect for a girlie weekend with 7 friends. We had an amazing time. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the hot-tub was wonderful. Cleaning staff were nice and friendly. We would definitely book again.

Absolutely gorgeous Location and Property. Hosts were amazing, very personable without being in anyway intrusive. Immediate neighbors very friendly and the community in Cruden Bay is warm and friendly. Also although this is mainly used as a high end golfing excursion accomidation (really, it's basically on the course) we had it as a central point for the Beaches and castle. Local natural coves and harbour villages nearby. amongst a host of other places of interest. Our group age ranged from 84 to 4 and everyone had an unforgettable week here Big thanks, always quick to respond to any questions or queries. Loved it and would definitely recommend and most likely will be returning

Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

Allez-y les yeux fermés : c'est comme à la maison. Logement spacieux, très bien équipé, literie au top, terrasse et barbecue appréciés car nous avons eu beau temps. Le Lac à proximité apporte un réel plus lorsque vous vous réveillez le matin avec la présence des canards, cygne et oiseaux. Bien rare à ne pas rater.

Amazing private location overlooking Lochalsh. A very spacious yet cozy one bedroom cottage with a large well equipped kitchen. Magical experience (snowed whilst I was there!) Highly recommend and I can guarantee I will be back!

what a place! incredible communication from the hosts and information on and around the place before going. Extremely happy with the fulfillment of the booking of what we expected and the standard of the ferny hoolet. I booked this as a surprise for my fiancé for our 10 year anniversary as she'd never been to the lake district which is close by as well which we experienced as well as the lovely ingleton waterfalls as well which be prepared for a walk. The hot tub at the ferny hoolet is clean and great for some night time relaxation with the surrounding sounds. The master bedroom bathroom has an incredible bath/shower which took a while to understand all the settings but then again I loved every minute in that spaceship of trying to understand and find different buttons. overall, an incredible stay and incredible communication and incredible location.

What a brilliant location. The lodge was all and more than we expected. The location of the lodge on site is excellent as there is very little passing footfall. Inside the lodge is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside decking area is large, overlooks the lake with comfortable chairs and table. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

We found the Boat House at Sonas to spend a few days exploring the Oban area. George and Vic were very proactive in providing information about the place, recommendations for activities, and a list of places to eat (though we ate many of our meals at the cabin—which is well equipped for cooking). The hosts have really thought of everything. And the site was, for us, a perfect respite between Glasgow and Edinburgh. A real Scottish oasis.
