Beautiful KVI Beach is a short walk, through a tree-lined neighborhood, from my cozy sunlit home. A 10-minute drive brings you to a new Center for the Arts, several individually-owned art galleries, two grocery stories, and a variety of regionally-recognized and locally-loved restaurants. My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Seaside Modern Apartment

The Seaside Modern Apartment delivers true comfort in a spectacular waterfront setting. Occupying one story of a midcentury modern home, the 900 sq ft space provides outstanding views of the Sound, Olympic Mountains, magnificent sunsets, and sea life. Accommodations include a living/dining area, spacious master bedroom, seaview terrace with covered patio, kitchenette (no full kitchen), additional guest room and access to the waterfront bulkhead (no beach access). A car is strongly recommended.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Sea Forever Beach Cottage

A relaxing 20-minute ferry trip from West Seattle or Water Taxi from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private cozy, Studio cottage with sweeping views of the Sound. Watch the ferries go by, relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, a forest hiking trail with sea and Mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Cozy Cabin Nestled in Vashon’s Huckleberry Woods

Charming 2BR cabin retreat on Vashon Island, secluded enough that at night the only sounds you'll likely hear are the occasional calls of the resident owls, yet less than 15 minutes from the cafés, shops, and bustle of Vashon town. Sleeps 4 comfortably, with fully equipped kitchen, a large deck and serene views into the surrounding woods we call the huckleberry forest, where you can pick berries from early summer through fall. Book now for the ultimate nature reset in this handcrafted gem.

This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Vashon View Cottage

Bright cozy studio cottage on the north end of Vashon. Puget Sound, Mount Baker and nature views. Newly renovated throughout with large deck to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and water views. Quiet neighborhood within 10-15min walking distance to and from the ferry (note there is an incline as we are on the hill above). Deer, hawks, eagles and more surround the property. Come enjoy a local jewel and experience small island living, just a 20 minute ferry ride away from Seattle!
