A Shepherd’s Retreat: Stunning Mountain View

Nestled at the foot of Whitehorse mountain in the midst of the North Cascades, a Shepherd’s Retreat is a working sheep farm. The farm is one of the few historic homestead farms in Snohomish County. Located within the North Cascades there is great hiking amazing views within a half hour drive. The town of Darrington is 5 miles away with restaurants, a pharmacy and grocery. The farmhouse has been recently updated and restored to allow guests maximum comfort, but able to live close to the land.

A-frame on the Pilchuck River, just past Granite Falls on the Mountain Loop Highway. Wake to water and cedars, soak in the riverside hot tub, then cook in the open kitchen while the hide-away projector warms up for movie night. Ideal for couples or a small family, and it sleeps up to 10 across 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and sofa beds. Covered game garage with pop-a-shot, ping pong and cornhole. Starlink wifi works for remote work. The main dome includes an open living area which easily transforms into a mini movie theatre, dining area, second bedroom, or a lounge with a cozy wood stove and commanding views of Sky Valley's most prominent peaks. Enjoy a private soak overlooking Mount Index from the smaller bathroom dome with heated slate floors. The property backs thousands of acres of forestry land open to explore on foot or by bike.

When we began construction of the A Frame we aimed to curate a luxury escape where you can transcend the monotony of the day to day. This fully custom A frame cabin was hand crafted from salvaged old growth timbers and hand milled lumber. Built to the highest quality and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. We made sure to include high end luxury finishes throughout to make for a completely unique stay in our private 80 acre forest. @frommtimbercompany

Built in the 1970's as a remote fishing cabin, this adorable little hideout has been reimagined to be the idyllic escape in the woods. This cabin is perched on a granite ledge overlooking the legendary Canyon Creek, which can be seen from nearly every one of the expansive windows. After spending a day exploring one of the nearby epic hiking trails, you'll be rewarded by a relaxing soak in the riverside hot tub or a board game with friends by the fire.

Cozy A-Frame in North Cascade Mountains

Winedown is a beautiful, constructed A-Frame built in 1967 and completely renovated in 2019 tucked in the North Cascades. As dawn turns to daybreak, there’s nothing more pleasant than being drawn from slumber by the sun light springing through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows and the sound of gushing water from Boulder Creek echoing through each surface of the property. Winedown is proudly a family-focused property that is scent and shoe free.
