On hot summer days you’ll find the temperature under the orchard canopy almost 10 degrees cooler at the heat of the day. Nelson Mountain Gardens is 50 acres of gardens and forest offering organic homesteading in the Orchard/Blueberry patch and vegetable garden in an eco-inspired setting and opportunity to interact with the farm animals or explore the lush forests surrounding the campground. Our sauna is a restorative experience. Our focus is a connection with nature thru meditative moments that are easily discovered in the sitting areas within our gardens.

This site is home to the awesome 20-foot diameter Stargazer tent (new one will be put up for the 2026 season), where you can see the night sky from your bed. :) It also has a platform with a canopy for shade and a picnic table nearby.
