Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format --- we charge an additional £10 per night for the bunk, this is added automatically when you book for 3 people. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Fully insulated with central heating the hut is cosy warm at any time of year. Nearby:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Mining Museum, Metro Centre.

Cotswolds Holiday Cottage is nestled in the village of Hamsterley with unrestricted countryside views and within 1/2 mile to Hamsterley Forest popular with mountain bikers, horse riders and walkers alike . The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. A large enclosed garden with a low wall allows uninterrupted views over countryside and enjoyment of our many animals, incl alpacas.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

It can comfortably accommodate six guests and is perfect for larger families or groups of friends. This is a large home in the small countryside Township of Tow Law. It has 3 large double bedrooms. 2 large reception rooms and a galley kitchen. The patio doors lead to a large enclosed yard which is covered with artificial grass and has seating. The house will be fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. We even have a games table and giant connect four to keep the kids entertained!
