This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Master suite is a studio like space with 5 minutes from downtown raleigh, Very close to Walnut Creek amphitheater. perfect for traveling nurses, long-term contract workers, visiting family etc. Small fridge, toaster oven, microwave, dishes. Master bathroom walk in shower, claw foot tub, full closet, kitchenette for longer stays NOTE we are getting some trees trimed and there is some yard debris (branches ) on the very back of the yard, we are also working on leveling it. Please be patient.

Our guest house is tucked behind our house on a bus line to UNC, walking distance to The Cat’s Cradle, the farmer’s market, and downtown. You will be welcomed by our two Cattle Dogs, and maybe some of our five cats (none allowed in the guest house). The house sleeps four in two cozy queen-sized bedrooms. Access to a Tesla charger.

Comfortable, clean, attractive, and very secluded. It is a studio apartment with one double bed, perfect for one person, cozy for two.. Your friendly, well behaved dog is welcome, but don't ever let your dog on the furniture or leave your dog alone uncrated. Sorry, no cats.
