The location is the stunning South Arm Peninsula offering many coastal trails, beaches, and a key site for viewing the Aurora Australis. Easy access to Hobart (40mins) and the Airport (30ms).

This unique place has a style all its own. With expansive views across the valley Appledore is a picture of the Huon. A luxurious cabin handmade by local craftsman from the ground up. The property is on 25 acres of land with a mixture of lush Huon Valley pasture and meandering forest through which a small creek flows into the Huon River. Appledore is a working farm you can explore at your leisure. Pull an apple from the tree and feed the cows if you wish or cuddle a lamb (if you can catch one)

Watch the fairy wrens dance outside, take in the huge skies and towering eucalyptus trees, pat a goat, and if you're lucky, see the wedge-tailed eagles.

Huon Valley House is a place where you can unwind in peace and comfort. It’s a spacious, stylish home, with comfortable beds and gorgeous views from every window. It’s private but central to everything the Valley has to offer, and an easy drive to Hobart and other Southern Tasmania destinations. Outside is an acre of lawn and native gardens, birds and occasional wildlife, plenty of parking and large decks with views in all directions. It’s the perfect luxurious base to explore the south-west.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Glaziers Bay Cottage is a colonial style building with modern facilities. It features 2.7m ceilings, walk in robe, open plan living area and kitchen. Ten minutes from Cygnet with magnificent views of vineyards, the Hartzview mountains, the Huon River and walking distance to Fat Pig Farm nextdoor. Cereals, local free range eggs, bread, milk, orange juice, tea and coffee included for a DIY breakfast. I'm really sorry but one night bookings are not viable so I have a two night minimum booking.
