Skiing 45 minutes Choice of good restaurants, Great grocery store, all minutes away. Spacious living, In-Law unit located below my home. Separate and completely private. Patio, yard, parking and entry door, all private and separate. Gated security. Sheep and Tortoises live here. Welcome to visit them. I can provide treats to feed.

With the entire apartment to yourself it can be a perfect retreat, a romantic weekend, or a quiet work/study space. A place to relax, meditate, read and feel a world away from everyday concerns. The wildflowers in our Sierras are absolutely breathtaking right now! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)

Recharge in the Woods to the Sound of Our Creek

We welcome guests to experience our peaceful, wooded 30 acre property located in the foothills of Nevada County. Witness and listen to the sounds of running water as you recharge; lazing at our creek, hiking through the property, on the guest deck overlooking our natural setting or soaking in the hot tub as you enjoy the wonderful nightly sunsets and evening stars. Although you experience the sense of being completely isolated, you will be within 5 miles of 12 eateries and a grocery market.

Our home is nestled under a canopy of conifers next door to the Tahoe National Forest and only a 5 minutes drive to downtown Nevada City.

For those looking for adventure drive 8 min to explore Mercer Caverns, 25 min to Big Trees State Park for beautiful hikes, or ski/snowboard 45 min away at Bear Valley Mountain Resort. Enjoy a comfortable, clean, and convenient stay with a modern bathroom, open style space, and all the creature comforts to make your stay a relaxing one!

Sierra Foothills River Retreat

Enjoy a private guest suite on the Mokelumne river with no cleaning fees and a hassle free stay. Fall asleep to the sound of the river. Sit on 1 of 3 decks to enjoy the scenic views and watch the wildlife. Walk in the river, go fishing, pan for gold. The lower deck on the river has a hammock & 2 person swing. There are 2 cooking stations on 2 separate decks. Visit Silver lake, Kirkwood, Big Trees Nat. Park or Lake Tahoe. Go wine tasting, antiquing or hiking.

The Inkling -Studio Guesthouse Downtown 2 beds

The Inkling is a separate apartment attached to a Victorian home built in 1890. It is in a quiet neighborhood near beautiful scenic canyons. Close to Old Town Auburn, you may enjoy restaurants, antique shops, family-friendly activities, the American river, and many, many trails. It is less than .5 miles from downtown as well. There is an enclosed grassy area for our human and canine guests. We live in the main house with our 3 small dogs Lola, Leo and Charlie.

Large Comfy Cottage- Close to Downtown

Close to Downtown, Cal Expo, Airport, Sac State, UC, Davis, Discovery Park, and Golden One Center. Hiking Trails and River access close by. Cottage is located centrally 10 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from the airport and Sacramento State, 5 minutes to the Arden Fair mall. It is a larger cottage style suite with its own entrance.
