Stunning home! Comfortable, clean, private, and a luxurious feel. Amazing attention to detail by the hosts - they proactively thought of anything guests might need. Everything was also very user friendly thanks to thoughtfully places labels and instructions by the hosts. The hosts were also incredibly sweet and left gifts for us and our pups. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Our trip was absolutely flawless. Maureen is a gracious host who has an amazing place in a perfect location outfitted with everything you could want or need for getting off the grid for a while. We can’t wait to go back! 100% recommend!!!

Great Cabin for a weekend getaway. Cozy, great lawn with fire pit, good beds etc. - everything you’ll expect from it is there and the photos tell you exactly what it will be. Wardensville is a cozy little town and the hiking optiona in the area were plenty and beautiful. .

We traveled to this location at an odd time. All of the winter activities were closed and the spring and summer activities hadn’t started yet. So you might think that would’ve set us up for disaster. However, the home was beautiful and we were able to find some really fun local attractions. Including the Shenandoah caves that the kids absolutely loved and the natural bridge with a nice walk to a waterfall. We also loved visiting the restaurant at the resort which had food that everyone loved with a really friendly atmosphere. It made us so curious to see how amazing this place is when you are in the midst of the winter season or able to enjoy some of the summer activities. Clearly this is a jewel and we would be happy to return again one thing I would warn about is there are very, very steep roads to get to the home so make sure your brakes are in good working order.

The location was perfect – so close to the ski resort, which made our trip incredibly convenient. Being able to easily check out the resort was a huge plus. Beyond the proximity to the resort, we truly loved the cabin itself. It was so cozy and comfortable, the perfect place to relax. The fireplace was especially wonderful and we loved the comfortable furniture in the living room. Unfortunately due to the weather, we weren't able to enjoy the hot tub at your place but maybe next time. Overall, it really felt like a home away from home. This place is just as described! We loved the serene, peaceful views from every room, particularly from the balcony and the fire pit area. The hot tub was one of our top favorite amenities. We are quite particular about hot tubs, and this one was the perfect temperature, size, and cleanliness. The natural light that comes through the living room and kitchen each morning just gives that Zen like feeling. It's like you're in a spa retreat. Relaxing on the balcony was such a peaceful experience, especially with the soothing sounds of birds chirping in the background. If you're into birdwatching—or just curious—you’ll love the Birds of Virginia book and binoculars provided in the Airbnb. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. There’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. We had so much fun during karaoke night and playing a few rounds of billiards. The slow, quiet mornings and the chance to reconnect with nature were exactly what we needed to unwind. Thank you, Liz!

We had such a lovely stay at this cute mountainside condo! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Doug’s recommendations for local food spots and hiking trails were so helpful!

This stay was absolutely incredible! The location is a bit remote, but that only adds to the peacefulness and privacy of the property. The views were breathtaking, especially the sunrise from the primary bedroom—truly unbeatable! The host was extremely accommodating, accepting our last-minute booking and responding quickly with great recommendations and answers to all our questions. If you're looking for a serene getaway with stunning scenery, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!
