What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay! We booked this accommodation as a family, as my brother was getting married in Peppermint Bay. Lindsey was very proactive and an excellent communicator - the house was easy to find, access and enjoy. All the amenities required were provided, the view and garden were lovely. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here, and hope to arrange another booking when we are in Tasmania again.

Our stay at Breakwater Lodge was just as we’d hoped - beautifully peaceful and quiet. Perfect place to go & unwind and enjoy relaxing days doing nothing. Breakwater Lodge has a great fully equipped kitchen, a lovely comfortable lounge area, with a small separate lounging room where you could choose a book from the shelf to read or watch a bit of tv. The deck is the perfect place to spend a quiet morning and afternoon, reading, relaxing and enjoying the view. And the best part about our stay at Breakwater Lodge was that our beautiful old dog got to enjoy it too. Not only a perfect spot to stay, but dog friendly too so highly recommend a little getaway at Breakwater Lodge.

The host and her lovely family are very friendly and easy . Sandy bay main park / ocean views are only 5 min walk - posh and nice area

We enjoyed the house and area for an extended family trip. Lots of room and activities at the house. Kids loved the painting spot, and the short walk to fish off the jetty. Some nice foreshore walks, with a well formed track to Verona Sands. Thanks

‘Winkle’ was a great place to stay whilst touring the Tasman Peninsula. It is cosy, especially with fire, clean & comfortable. Would definitely stay again & recommend.

A lovely peaceful place to relax and unwind. We really appreciated the delicious platter of fruit, bread and cheese on arrival. Plus the Easter eggs on Sunday morning was a delightful surprise.

Had a wonderful stay. Anna and Tim made the experienced easy and stress free. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away and relax.

Claire’s cottage on the beach was a beautiful hidden gem. Only a 30 min drive to the centre of Hobart, meant it was the perfect place to relax as a base point, and then go on wonderful day trips from there. Watching the sun rise over the water each morning was spectacular and the evening skies on dusk were just as stunning. The coffee machine produced incredible coffee, and the bottle of Tassie champagne was a lovely surprise! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing! Thanks Claire for sharing your beautiful beach home with us. Hoping we can make it back again one day!

My aunts spent their night at Farida’s property. There was a little hiccup with the check in, but thankfully resolved quickly! Farida is an extremely responsive host, property was stunning and exactly like the photos! Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a place near the airport!

We had a fantastic stay at Opossum Bay. The place was beautifully presented with high-quality amenities throughout—nothing cheap or nasty here! Everything felt thoughtfully chosen and well cared for. We made good use of the BBQ and pizza oven, and loved going for walks to the nearby rec park. The whole experience was relaxing and memorable. Would absolutely recommend!

The overall house was amazing. Very clean and equipped. Peaceful environment. Wake up to a beautiful scenery. Lisa was very responsive. Just 6 min to nearest gas station or supermarket. Definitely recommend!

Michelle’s home is very beautiful and comfortable to stay it ! The view is stunning and there’s lots of ammenities, we wished we could have stayed longer to have time to use the fireplace and enjoy the outdoor patio more! Thank you so much

Clean, tidy and comfortable warm home (with use of wood heater) and a beautiful spot on the Huon. Great fishing from the front of the home... caught a very tasty gummy shark using a drone. I would gladly stay at this property again.

House was amazing couldn’t fault in any way. Clean, comfortable and perfect. Views and location of house was absolutely fabulous. Host always replied to any messages very quickly and we super helpful with some sight seeing recommendations when we asked. 10/10 stay, thank you 🙏🏼

Our time at the Shearers Quarters was so special. It just happened to be available for the 3 nights we were planning to be in Tassie so we decided to treat ourselves. As expected, this place has been designed and fitted out so thoughtfully . The setting is amazing - farm x local history x coastline. Lots of simple pleasures, including driving around to pick up local Bruny produce and bringing it back to enjoy in front of the indoor or outdoor fire, watching the native hens, the quolls and the beautiful views.

Ben’s place in Deep Bay is wonderful, the location is truly stunning. We stayed there for three nights for a family reunion and loved it. Some of the elder family members did have a few issues, such as Ben lives on site and came into his office at 10:30pm, shining a light into the bedroom. There are a few little quirks such as no coffee, sugar, or oil, and an oven that doesn’t fit a lot of the dishes available, but it was still a wonderful stay.

We were traveling as a family group of ten and this house accommodated us so well. The location is so beautiful and we loved exploring the local region and then coming home to wander the beach each evening. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The host was friendly, responsive and helpful

Our group had a very memorable stay at the House of the Weedy Sea Dragon. The location is spectacular right on the beach and the houses were the perfect place to have a group of friends to stay. Plenty to do...swim, enjoy the fires, relax in the comfortable well equipped rooms. Plenty to see and do in the local area. I will be back again. Thank you so much for having us.

I can't thank Paquita enough for allowing us to host our very intimate wedding at The Pearl. It is an incredible, special, beautiful place. The Pearl is somehow even more beautiful in person, and the pristine beach at our doorstep was a ln incredible bonus. Hosting our immediate family for dinner on the back verandah as the sun was setting, listening to the ocean and watching the sun set over the water, is now one of my most treaured memories. We are already talking about staying again. Paquita went above and beyond as a host - providing recommendations for local florists, celebrants, hair stylists etc - and even left us a beautiful congratulations card and gift. A fantastic location right on the beach. The interiors are tastefully decorated with a well-designed layout, plenty of areas to chill out, and ample storage space for a longer term stay. We also enjoyed the selection of books and magazines. There’s a fabulous jacuzzi bathtub in the master bathroom, and it was so relaxing to go for walks on the beach and fall asleep to the rhythmic sound of waves. It’s well worth stopping at a larger supermarket before you get there to stock up with any food or other supplies you might need, so you can maximise your peaceful and relaxing stay.
