Kirkcudbright is a very nice town. Worth a visit: peaceful, green, clean and probably the friendliest people I have come across. The house really is perfect - one of the best we have stayed at. Host is friendly and proactive in communication. Getting there, getting in and getting comfortable is all so easy. I cannot think of anything to find fault with- everything you need is here and how you want it. Lovely welcome pack too. Lots of space in the house and dog friendly (lots of good walking areas behind the house).

The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

Me and my husband stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary with our 14 month old daughter and our dog. Cleugh Cottage's beautiful charm made it one we will remember. From checking in and finding a bottle of Prosecco await us to spending the evenings in the hot tub looking over the river it was just so special! Martyn was a great host and has clearly put a lot of love into this property. We hope to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

We had a lovely few days at the accommodation. It was perfect for the 6 of us. It was within an easy driving distance for lots of nice places around the Lake District including Keswick, Rydal Caves and Muncaster Castle. After enjoying our activities during the day it was great to come back to the house, which was in such a quiet and peaceful place. We had a lovely meal at The Royal Yew in Dean, we highly recommend it. Overall a lovely place for a break.

Fabulous apartment just as described. Clean, comfortable with an excellent position for all amenities. Parking space is a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to repeat.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

Great stay; lovely apartment in a superb location, Glenn was helpful and send good, clear instructions. Good size rooms and comfortable to stay in, would definitely recommend.

A week’s stay here in this really comfortable and well equipped flat. Very nicely furnished and everything working as it should. Peaceful surroundings (except for early morning seagulls!) with lots of free parking available as well as a reserved spot in the car park. We tended to use the street parking as there is a tree over of the reserved spot….. Very well located to get into the town with some good walks along the river. Easy to drive out to touring spots. We really enjoyed the castle at the head of the estuary and the boathouse restaurant on the way back to town. Flat was much more spacious than we expected and was very comfortable. Would happily return if we are back in the area.

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Just like home from home with immediate access to all the service you expect for a walking holiday in Cumbria. Also, private car parking, access to what is now an excellent bus services in and around the local valleys and not to forget the immediate availability of the excellence of the Booths super market!

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung im Herzen von Maybole. Wohnung groß und gut eingerichtet. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter! Parkplatz in der Nähe, Takeaway-Restaurants direkt nebenan…gute Lage.

Luke & AnnaMarie’s place is perfect for exploring Moffat and the surrounding area. The spa facilities were amazing. Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family’s stay for our daughter’s wedding at a farm nearby. Such a unique property and we were grateful for the gorgeous back garden since we had such great weather. Kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the setup of the house overall.

Beautifully spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortable home. Met the needs of our family attending a wedding. Disappointing that a cot and highchair couldn't be provided although we found some in store room in house! Would have expected more classy toiletries than Radox. Overall we had a great time in Ayr.

Nick went above and beyond in supporting our trip. We were 10 adults 6 kids, for me the old worldly feel & nature showing through every window was unreal-Every room felt unique & special. Beautiful peaceful surroundings, very close to village but feels like we were out in the country. House, Beautifully decorated, big but yet felt very cosy. Everything you could possibly need was provided for. Outside amenities included a hot tub which was the icing on the cake of a magnificent property •Aged 74: Such a wonderful ambience for a family gathering so peaceful •Aged 43: Nothing like having you're own personal hotel for a weekend :) Aged 12: I want to live there, it was gorgeous.
