This cottage is the original School House alongside the now retired Woodbank School at Clarence. Situated in the beautiful Clarence Valley 30 minutes north up the Kaikoura coast . Great walks, Biking, mountain bike Park at Middle Hill, Raft the Clarence River, fish at the river mouth, swim or surf on the coast, 20 minutes to The Store at Kekerengu, or the numerous cafes in Kaikoura. View the seals at colony 10 minutes down the coast...Or you can sit back and read a book and listen to the birds.

"Seas The Moment" - The Commodore Suite

Situated under ten minutes drive to City, Beach, Golf Course, Airport. Overlooks the sea, mountains, beach. The Commodore Suite, situated on the entrance level of our house, is sunny, very warm, light and airy. One bedroom, bathroom, living area & kitchenette with 2 hobs, microwave, slow cooker, air fryer and bench top grill. BBQ available on the upper deck as is use of that deck. Washer and dryer available in our living area which guests always welcome to use. Not suitable for children.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to Picton and Waikawa Bay yet far enough away to feel you are a long way from both. Perfect environment for peace and quiet, but also perfect central spot to explore Marlborough. Ample space for children and animals to play. Plenty of parking space, including a boat. With vineyards, mountain bike tracks and the Marlborough Sounds nearby, you are perfectly positioned to enjoy our beautiful region. The cottage garden provides herbs for your use in the well equipped kitchen. We welcome dogs and can provide a horse paddock.
