Owner(s) were very responsive and accommodating. Home is in an excellent location; close to many attractions.

We stayed at the Highland Cottage in McHenry. The place is huge, beautiful and had everything we needed. We were able to cook a Thanksgiving meal with the kitchen equipment that was provided (minus staples like salt, pepper, oil). The area is full of amazing homes and the neighborhood was just beautiful for a walk with our dogs who stayed with us. The hot tub on the covered porch was a real treat after a full meal! One of the gas fireplaces wouldn't light and they responded to my voice message from Wednesday on Thanksgiving day by sending a gentleman over to fix it--he was very nice and we appreciated that a lot. Two small things, for the high cleaning fee, there wasn't a ton of attention to detail in cleaning (kitchen splatters, dirt on floors...) and they request you take the garbage to the community dumpster but there are no directions on getting there (to the main road, go right, and it's on the left behind a black fence). All in all, this was a great experience.

My friends and I had a weekend getaway and it was more than we could have ever asked for. We are all frequent airbnbers, and we all agreed that Lav's home was one of the most gorgeous, pristine homes that we've ever stayed in. We we're so impressed! It was so peaceful, private and lavish. It was centrally located to everything that the resort had to offer, so we were barely having to drive. Check-in was easy peasy, and Lav was so proactive with her communication. I was beyond impressed and would recommend her home to all of my friends and families.

My family and I had a great time. Went to visit my son for thanksgiving week. He's a student athlete at Waynesburg University. We had a great time. It was priceless. The house was beautiful. Sitting on top of the ski slope which was right in our backyard by the way. Even found toys for my grandson in the game room closet. My son has 3 more years of school and I think we found a new temporary home for when we go to visit him. These guys owe me nothing! It was all worth it! Thanks...

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The view is beautiful. Taylor-Made was very responsive to any questions or issues. We loved the wood burning fireplace and it was a great bonus to have wood provided. (Didn’t know the ash bucket was up in the loft area - kids told me AFTER we left). A few things for guests to know; There are not extra towels for hot tub use (picked up from previous reviewer). We brought our own pool towels which worked out great. I also believe that the listing should mention that this ski-in, ski-out location is on a black-diamond trail. We had a few who were unwilling /unable to do this and therefore had to drive up to the upper lot or down to the base. In the kitchen, there are really no storage containers for leftovers- don’t forget to bring your own including, baggies, aluminum foil, or plastic wrap. There are 2crock-pots (regular size), 2 electric griddles, lots of cookie sheets - but you will want to use baking sheets on these. Grocery store is close

Our stay at DCL was really great thanks to the Vacasa property. It was as advertised and provided an accommodation that made for great family memories. I highly recommend this property and hope to have the chance to stay here again sometime soon.

Tina and Robert provided an amazing home for my group to stay at for a short ski weekend! The townhouse was way bigger than expected and all amenities you could think of were there! They were responsive and instructions were easy. Kitchen stocked with all you could need and fun games for families or for the summer months. The hot tub was easy to use and a nice amenity. Right by the slopes, this was the perfect affordable stay. Thank you!

Great house overall. Was a bit disappointed in the lack of air conditioning but the property did say the house didn't have A/C so it certainly wasn't misleading. I just didn't think to check if the house had it. The house is nice and spacious and you're relatively close to a lot of activities. As a ski lodge, I think it'd be great but it gets quite hot in the summer.

The outdoor deck space and amenities at this property were great. Between a hot tub, pool table, foosball, and cornhole, there was plenty for everyone to do at the house. The interior was very well done and felt cozy.

Since there were not many reviews, I wanted to point out a couple of things. You can ski in from both Down Under and Eye Opener, if there is a lot of natural snow. Since the snowmaking does not reach this unit. This unit is very close to Eye Opener, so with natural snow it is a very easy ski-out. However, we were surprised to find out that the lift at the bottom of both slopes does not usually open until late in the season, so it was not open yet. We had tons of snow, so we could ski in but not ski out. The Covid protocols at Wisp were excellent. Rentals whipped you through so fast that your time inside was limited. We brought food and ate in our car, instead of the lodge. The private lessons were not as good as the group lessons. Book your group lessons, and your lift tickets, asap, as they sell out! The tubing and coaster rides were awesome. This unit is fantastic. I could not believe the view. With all of the snow it was right out of a Christmas card. The 3 bathrooms really made it nice for our group of 6. The hot tub fits 8 and was fantastic after long days on the slopes. We had about 8 inches of snow but the winding road was well plowed and salted. Would have preferred having a 4w drive though. The wood burning fireplace was great. Wood is provided, but I would recommend you bring duraflames to get the fire going. Overall we had a blast.

Amazing home! Perfect for our family! We loved the fun of the lower level and hot tub! Super close wisp!

We came in for our annual deep creek trip. We brought our 4 kids and our oldest sons 5 friends. The house was a great space! The teens were able to have the basement to themselves. The pool table and hot tub were a big hit! We also loved the deck with a nice view. We would definitely stay again

absolutely unforgettable trip, no complaints from any of the group and everybody is on board to do it again same time next year. thank you guys for a prime location and beautiful views.

This home was lovely. However, the ski in and ski out advertisement should be more clear that it enters a black diamond run. This was not conducive for our beginner skiers.

We had an amazing stay!! The cabin was just as described and had everything we needed and more! Our kids loved the game room and s’mores! Location was amazing and very peaceful. I messaged a few questions and they were answered within minutes. Thank you for making our spring break so wonderful!!!

Pictures don’t do it justice! Such a beautiful and relaxing getaway! John and Jennifer were so responsive and helpful during our stay! Our trip was scheduled during a winter storm, and they proactively offered us flexible check in! We will definitely be booking again! Highly recommend! ☺️

Chris was a great host with a great cabin, the area next to the cabin was easy to navigate and stress free check in was flexible and easy very cozy and a good relaxing stay even during off season our family and extended family are hoping to book again in season preferably winter time.

We had a fantastic stay! Chris was incredibly friendly and even gave us great recommendations for places to eat dinner, which we really appreciated. The house was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and comfortable. One of our favorite features was that each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made things so convenient for our group. It was also very pet-friendly—our dogs had a great time and felt right at home. We’ve already talked about making this an annual trip and can’t wait to come back next year! Highly recommend!
