1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

We're a family of 6 (4 kids) & built this waterfront campsite to get off grid & spend time with family & friends. Abrams Creek flows into the Potomac River (which you can walk to from camp). Camp is located near two major ski resorts (Wisp at Deep Creek, MD & Timberline near Davis, WV), three lakes (Deep Creek, Jennings Randolph, & Mount Storm), & tons of state parks. Cabin G at Abrams Creek

Cabin G is a rustic camping cabin in the woods, overlooking the creek- no plumbing or AC power. It has heat, battery-powered permanent lighting and a private portapotty. Outside there is a private fire pit and picnic table, and a charcoal grill and a propane tabletop stove are available at no charge. The cabin is furnished with beds, chairs, table, couch, and nightstand. Showerhouse and outdoor showers are near the main lodge, or inside lodge during the cold season.

Kick’n back cabin

Welcome to my cabin in the woods! I initially bought it to get out of DC but ultimately have taken a job in another part of the US. I still visit though but am happy that I can keep it on Airbnb as I want to share my piece of paradise with others! Aside from the cabin itself, the community in the area is lovely and there’s a lot going on in the area. Between the nature, the people and serenity, it’s an amazing place to be!
