Cynthia was great with her comms, flexible with our booking, check in/check out was super easy, and the house was clean with listed amenities. Great location..a 3min drive from a shopping centre. The house is situated at the end of a narrow driveway with thick shrubs and there is limited street parking so it might be a little challenging to manoeuvre a large vehicle in and out of the driveway. That’s obviously not a fault of the house itself. Just something to take into consideration if you’re travelling with a big car or not a confident driver.

Great host, prompt communication, wonderful property. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The house was walking distance to the shops and the beach. We will be back for sure!

Helen and Andrew were amazing hosts! Their home was in pristine condition and the renovations made to the property, styling were of a very high level. Helen was responsive, flexible and made things very easy for us from the onset as well as giving us great recommendations and the location is just moments away from the beautiful backbeach where you can observe an enviable sunset each day. Easy to get to, Nice and early check-in which is also extremely flexible. Easy driveway and easy kerb side parking. Place was extremely nice and clean with aircon already on when we entered in which is really nice! Have all the cutlery and utensils needed to cook any meal, place is also very much kid/baby friendly with cribs and play area. An amazing quiet area to sleep at when visiting the city. My friend and I found it very convenient with light rail lines and train lines very close by and to rest for every night during the F1 weekend. Highly recommend this place if you want a nice, comfortable and cozy stay at Melbourne. Also the TV is great! Thanks Shirley so much for hosting!!!

Staying at the Heart of the Lion was one of the most incredible experiences. Being in a home that is over a hundred years old with a vast history was remarkable. It is incredible and very impressive that Grace and her family maintains their home and humongous garden all by themselves. The hosts were very friendly and gave clear instructions as to how to best preserve and respect this home, it is clear the amount of effort they put into allowing others to enjoy their historical property. The main bathtub was impeccable!!! so luxurious that my partner used it twice within our 1 day stay. I would highly recommend anyone to stay a night here to enjoy this wonderful staycation!

Honestly our best Air BnB experience to date. Fantastic property, with fantastic hosts. Our family of 6 had plenty of space and plenty to do! I would stay here again without hesitation.

Great large size house with plenty of space to enjoy. This property was so easy to find, just off the main road. The spa was delightful, the colder weather ( Mid June ) was a bit chilly outside, but the water temp was perfect. A wonderful getaway home, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We had an absolutely awesome stay at Craig’s house in Rye. The heated pool was spectacular and very relaxing. The grass area was great for kids to run around and play and the house was warm with nice modern bathrooms. We also loved that it was pet-friendly. Rye was a great area to holiday with lots to do for both teenagers and younger ones. Craig was very responsive, friendly and helpful as a host, and we definitely hope to return another year. Thank-you!!!

This is one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed. Everything is perfect, but my main highlights include: - spotlessly clean! The house even smelled amazing when we arrived. - thoughtful touches, like a bottle of wine and card for our arrival. - incredible kitchen, if you’re planning to cook while you’re there it has everything you need and more. The knives are great quality, the instant boiling water, the platters and bowls for entertaining, it’s all there. - the bathrooms are spacious and well designed. - the linen is great quality and the beds were incredibly comfortable. - the aircon worked beautifully, even on the really hot days/nights. - the pool was fantastic. Great size for teenagers and the spa was enjoyed by the adults most nights. - the laundry has quality washer and dryer, and a Dyson vacuum for a quick vacuum. - walking distance to great coffee at Koonya General store. - Katie was very responsive and helpful. We will absolutely come back and highly recommend!

The place was absolutely beautiful. For starters it’s was easy to check in and access. The overall layout was nice and it was very clean and tidy. There was more than enough space for the 6 of us that stayed there. The location was great as there were plenty of things to do in the area.

What a fabulous place! The character of this home and beauty of the surrounding gardens made for such a great family getaway. With the billiard table, pool, sauna and tennis court, our teenagers were happy and occupied. Loved that we could walk to Sherbrooke Falls from the house, and the gorgeous cafe across the road. My family and I had the liveliest time at Lisa's villa in the heart of the Ramada resort. surrounded by nature but with access to all resort facilities, we were never short of things to do. The villa is perfect, well appointed and had everything we needed, plus some lovely touches like Easter eggs and hot cross buns! Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks Lisa!

Great little villa with brand new kitchen and amenities. Well appointed. Perfect size for our group of 7 with two bathrooms and one room on one side of villa and the rest on the other side. Great location, the Ramada resort is always lots of fun for the kids and they love it here. This is one of the better villas we have stayed at in the area with its freshened up look. Host was extremely responsive and attentive, would book again!

This was our second time here and we loved it just as much as the first. It's just great for pets: the enclosed yard is spacious so you can just let the doggo go outside and wander without worrying. The broader grounds are lovely. You feel like you are out in the country but if you forgot something, the Torquay shops are just a 10 min drive away. The animals, trampoline, pool, and ping pong are all great for the whole family. Terry is just lovely to chat with and very helpful if you need anything. Finally, check out the Great Ocean Road nursery and café just two doors down — delicious food and coffee and a very pleasant spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing short break. The location is literally a short walk of 5 minutes to the beach. Summer was very easy to deal with and the instructions regarding the premises were clearly outlined in the house manual.

The house was perfect for our large group with ample sleeping and space to spread out, relax and enjoy the property.

The house is so open and spacious exactly what we needed for the family. The backyard is small, but there’s a wonderful park 5mins walk, and small shopping center 15mins walk away that I could pick up whatever we needed. Area is safe and quiet.

Couldn't be more positive about Ria's property. Not cheap but great value with a premium property well suited to our large family short stay - or any other medium group requirement. Pet friendly was a huge bonus. Property has multiple hang outs suitable for full group and the bespoke roof top area was a great bonus (and cigar spot!). Couple of minor issues that Ria sorted pronto! We'll be back.
