First of - Kathy’s Kottage offers a uniquely private, warm and inviting detached cottage. We are not a huge commercial venture, but owned, operated, maintained, and cleaned by hosts who live within 150 yards. The Kottage is our only offering. We charge a cleaning fee of $35 a stay, so there isn't a list of chores at check out. We take up to 4 hours between every stay to extensively clean and disinfect every surface. We are proud of the Kottage as shown in every review over the last four years.

Basehor is 10 minutes west of Kansas Speedway, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Hollywood casino and Legends shopping area. Lynnmark Mercantile is a 4 minute drive to Holy Field Winery, and 33 minute drive to Historical Lawrence, Kansas

This is a 7 bedroom home on five acres. It was built to be a multi-generational home with separate spaces for young families and large communal rooms for everyone to gather together. It's a great place for retreats or family reunions! There are 2 full kitchens, 3 1/2baths, 3 living rooms. The setting is rural, surrounded by trees, horse pastures, barn. The feel of country but close to all that KC has to offer.
