It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. Off-grid! The lights are always on in this bright, modern, industrial styled garden cottage. The perfect spot for a break away from the noise and bustle. A 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive will take you to the swimming beach and nearby grocery shops, take-aways and restaurants. Just 25 minutes away from the city of Durban, this quiet spot makes for the ideal holiday or business stay. Please note: We do not permit parties on the property. Day visitors are only allowed by prior arrangement.

Situated in Doonside, Amanzimtoti, Barefoot Beach House is an exclusive self catering guest house that offers guests a relaxing and homely environment with an eclectic twist. Upstairs are two bedrooms each with their own balcony overlooking the ocean and two bathrooms, one en-suite. We have endeavored to combine comfort with class to ensure that our guests feel at home.
