I love staying here. This is our third year up for an annual bass tournament and it’s perfect. Clean, great deck that I love! Boat right there on the dock ready to go for fishing. Short boat trip to the casino for blast off. I stay behind and sunbathe on the deck and enjoy the canal. Easy and caring hosts. I have no complaints and will continue to come back as long as I can. I have family in the area, but would much rather stay here for as long as I can. Love it! So peaceful.

Quiet street, very nice deck and dock, and easy access to lake. Home was very clean, well equipped with kitchen equipment and plenty of bedroom/bathroom linens and towels. we only had a couple of questions once there and Robert responded in minutes. very satisfied with service and home.

Place was perfect for kids and I on spring break. Boat dock was awesome, and was a quiet, peaceful spot with lots of birds to watch in the morning. Danielle was awesome, super responsive, and helpful. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Very nice area and house right on the lake. Our Grandson and daughter enjoyed the paddle boat and we had fun fishing. We didn’t catch anything and weren’t sure if there were any fish until a guy in a boat was catching fish by our dock. I’m sure as usual we weren’t using the right bait or lure. 12 year old grandson enjoyed playing basketball at the park nearby but the 7 year old was disappointed the play structure at the park was under construction. But there were other play structures nearby we could drive to.

Jason was very responsive, provided clear instructions. This property exceeded our expectations and the private covered boat slip was incredible. Awesome patio, with bbq to grill, hot tub was well maintained. House was clean with good amount of extra blankets and pillows if needed. Hope to stay again soon!

This place is amazing and such a nice retreat not too far north of the bay area. Often you find an Airbnb that isn’t fully equipped for cooking, bathing, living, etc. but this house is truly “turn key” and has everything you need. Add the grill and backyard space along the lake, and the arcade games, and it makes for a wonderful stay. We would love to stay again and again in the future whenever we need a quick break from the city.

The whole family had an amazing time. Kids cried when we left. We will be back!

This is a beautiful home located right on the water. The place was clean and the outside deck was a plus! The fridge made a loud buzzing noise during our stay but otherwise everything was perfect. 10/10 -- I'd recommend!

Foremost is what an outstanding host Brian is. He was consistently responsive and helpful, and always good-natured. Whenever we needed anything, Brian was very quick to provide it. The apartment was more than adequate for our needs--I especially liked the walk-in closet and the view of the plants on the back deck. The office space was good for getting work done, and the futon couch there could have served as another bed, though the space is open. There is a step up to the bathroom, which has a nice roomy shower, and everything very clean. Also a step up to the kitchen, which can handle one person at a time. Fridge, range, microwave--all clean and of recent vintage. The neighborhood was quiet, even with a handy laundromat and coffee shop just around the corner. We also liked how close we were to Lake Merritt--good walks. We would definitely stay here again, and hope that we'll have the opportunity.

This was a great bnb walking distance to the lake. Many restaurants in walking distance as well.

Toni's & Philip's place was perfect. Seriously - clean, wonderful array of amenities in the kitchen, lovely garden backyard with bocce ball, clean, comfy bed, ample bathroom with great water pressure, clean, windows that open for fresh air, filtered water from the fridge, plenty of electrical outlets...and did I mention clean? You won't be disappointed. Walkable to restaurants and we found parking easy on the street. It's only 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park which, no matter how often I visit the area, always has something new to explore. Toni and Philip are the kind of people you wish to have as neighbors. They were attentive but not intrusive in any way. I would definitely seek this place out again in the future. Kudos to you, Toni & Philip, for creating such a lovely space!

Heidi’s place is one of my best air b n b experiences. Her house is clean comfortable, snacks and cookware made for an easy transition. The apartment was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like she cares about her guests and their experience. The unit is quiet and parking was always right in front. Really nice cafe nearby. Laundry mat was clean and easy to get a machine on the weekdays. I live in oakland but needed a place to stay for a month and it was a mini vacation staying by the lake. A few times I ran into Heidi as she was out walking her dog, she is a joy.

Loved this place! We’ve been traveling around a lot and seen too many lackluster Airbnbs so this unit was a breath of fresh air. The place was clean! It’s eclectic without being too crowded or busy. The kitchen table is cute, there are great books and lots of lovely stuff to look at. The kitchen is much better stocked than most and Bree was a breeze to communicate with. We needed to add an extra night and she made it super simple and responded quickly. It’s easy to walk the lake and get to restaurants on lakeshore or grand and also the farmers market on Saturdays. There are stairs but they help you get your steps in! We would easily stay here again!

I spent a week here when my own apartment was under renovation. It was great! Very cozy, but had everything needed to live my daily life uninterrupted. I got to meet LaurieAnn and she was very kind. I will stay again if I need a place in Oakland. Thanks LaurieAnn!

pleasant decor, all the amenities you could need (Laundromat just next door), friendly neighbors, soft bed, shower has great pressure and all the hot water, even some tequila in the cupboard! 😅 Only thing I could complain about is it gets HOT in there on a hot day but just open the doors and hit the fans. Oh and such nice gardening, fragrant flowers everywhere. Thanks Kyle!

Wonderful spot right on the lake. Next door to a free boat ramp. 4 minute drive to a bunch of restaurants and parks. Also the inside was all newly remodeled, very modern kitchen and bathroom. Will likely be coming back.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the Castaway. The house is well organized and very clean. We spent hours at the beach with private accessibility which was great. Hot tub was a treat. We will definitely return.

We recently stayed at the lake house and had a great experience. The house has 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs with separate entrances. Perfect for groups of people who would like a little bit of privacy from each other. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful view of the lake and the deck was amazing for morning coffee and dinner at sunset.

My family and I had an incredible stay at Gower’s Airbnb. Honestly, it was even nicer than I expected. This property offers a true California experience that’s incredibly hard to find. I’ve driven along Highway 1 many times, always thinking how amazing it would be to spend time on that beautiful coastal land you see from the road, and this property delivers exactly that. We had lunch and dinner overlooking sweeping views of untouched coastline and the beach below. There’s an easy path down to what felt like a private beach (we didn’t see another soul the entire time), and we spent hours exploring the black sand, walking the shore, and checking out the tide pools at low tide. The whole time, I kept thinking how rare and unspoiled this experience is. Gower has created an incredible home, thoughtfully designed with all the comforts you could want right in the middle of some of the most beautiful land in the world. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

Such a beautiful and peaceful retreat! Our dogs had a blast running around off leash on the hiking trail (the first part of the trail is steep but our dog with arthritis managed it just fine) and the house was incredibly well stocked and clean. Jeff and Trey were always very responsive and so friendly. I’m so glad this was our first trip with our newborn!

Hi my name is David I have stayed at Barbara‘s absolutely gorgeous cute/cozy home on the lake in Lakeport I highly recommend this place to anyone not only the place is nice and clean and comfortable but the location it’s at on the lake is absolutely perfect so yes I give her 100 stars

We enjoyed our time here. It is very rural, quiet and peaceful. Laytonville is a small town so the grocery store is very basic. It is only about 10 minutes away and open until 11. We were traveling with small children and arrived later in the day. The kids were hot and hungry and we had not had a chance to get food. The woman handling check in had a plate of fruit and was incredibly gracious to share to help keep them going until we could run in and grab groceries. She also called ahead to confirm how late they would be open. (4th of July) The walk to the private lake is not difficult and there are multiple kayaks you can use. In addition, it was during an incredible heatwave and there were regular check-ins to make sure all was well and everyone had water. There is no air conditioning but there are many fans that helped it cool off at night. Any issues or concerns were dealt with timely and appropriately. The service was truly above and beyond.

Had a great stay here. Everything was as described. No complaints!

This is our second time back to the Cabernet Cottage at Isis Oasis. We so much appreciate the funky nature of the place with its rich history. All of the wild animals are amazing and so fun to stroll the grounds with our boy. We are so impressed with the good work they do, funding their transitional housing with the proceeds from their rentals. Di Tracy and Justin were super generous and just very kind people.
