MacLeod House Guest Cottage-Nature lovers' getaway

MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. A 'must see' for nature lovers.

Container Cottage

Come and experience the cute little 20ft shipping container that has been turned into a cozy stay for a single or couples. The functional kitchen with all the basic necessities will be all you need to create a romantic dinner, or even just a coffee for yourself - both of which can be enjoyed with a tree-top view from the deck. The shower is surprisingly spacious and the gas geyser ensures hot water always. This space aims to delight and invoke a sense of serenity as you focus on the basics.

We are Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac, minutes away from central Westville, overlooking the University Campus and Beautiful Palmiet Nature Reserve. Durban International Airport is 30 mins drive away & Durban's beaches only 12km away. Private & tranquil with your own entrance and parking spaces. With inverter solar power backups load sheddings impact is in most cases largely eliminated!. Easy access to M13 and N3. Regrettably unsuitable for social events & parties.

Tamarind Self Catering Apartment

Beautifully furnished apartment, nestled in a well established indigenous garden, situated on the tree lined bank of a local stream, overlooking the Krantzkloof Nature Conservancy who's entrance is a mere 5 minute walk away and gives access to many amazing nature walks upon which you will see prolific bird life and sightings of zebra. A really lovely one bedroom place to stay which has all you need for a holiday or if you are on business. The wifi and TV are there for your convenience with a dedicated work space. Westville is a very treed area and green all year round. At Horizon Hideout you are so close to nature and yet only 5 minutes to the shops, an 8 min drive to the Pavilion Shopping Centre and a 20 minute drive to the Durban beachfront. Ofcourse there are plenty of other fun places to explore as well!

Jungle Oasis

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Lincoln Loft - 1 bed with views

Lincoln Loft: One bedroom with stunning views located in Central Westville. Make meals in the open plan kitchen with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave & fridge. Work or play with kettle for tea/coffee, a desk area, Wi-Fi, and TV with Netflix in front of a cozy couch. Queen size bed with portable air con to keep cool at night. Bathroom with spacious shower and washing machine. Secure off-street parking for one car. No outdoor space. NB no smoking inside.

Well positioned in the cul de sac with 24hour guards, on the edge of a conservancy enclosed by game fencing on much of the perimeter. Feels like you're miles away from civilisation while you're just minutes from malls, excellent eateries, major highways, hiking and biking galore. Come explore, or just melt and enjoy the birdlife.
