Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

Debbie is a wonderful, kind and communicative host. We were welcomed with a smile and she talked to us about all the wonderful surroundings such as the pub and nature reserve just down the road. The lodge itself was clean and well presented and the hot tub was absolutely enormous! I’d absolutely recommend the Lincoln Retreat for a getaway and we will certainly be back again soon! Only stayed for a short period but overall all was great.

We had a wonderful few days at Helen and Frank’s place. We felt really at home and enjoyed everything about our stay: the beautiful cottage, the comfy bed, the spacious wet room, the welcoming notes, the provisions, the outside space, Moggy May, Percy, the cockerel, sorry AND Percy’s mum, and of course, Helen and Frank themselves. We had a totally relaxing few days, enjoyed fantastic days out at the beach at Formby, RHS Garden Bridgewater and, on Helen’s recommendation, a great day at Lytham St Anne’s, walking on the beach and playing crazy golf. Had an excellent meal at the Cavendish Arms and great takeaway pizza from the place just down the road. Would thoroughly recommend😃

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Thank you for having us & thank you so much for all the tasty treats!

We spent the Easter long weekend at this beautiful and peaceful place. The kids loved the trampoline, swings and games. When the sun was out, having lunch outside was really nice. The pond is a beautiful sight from the windows, and the walks nearby are worth exploring too.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit my elderly father in law, after a long drive it was a lovely place to stay, clean with everything you could need. The garden is completely dog proof which was important to us and it was great to sit out there in the sunshine. There’s a great walk just at the end of the street for Dogs, the village has a great selection of shops/ bakery/restaurants. We’ll be booking again for our next visit

Fab house with absolutely everything you could need in the. Great location. Only a short walk to a few pubs. We went to The Woodman for lunch which was lovely. The house has loads of space and a huge outdoor area with amazing views. We were lucky and got some sun on Easter Sunday. Also has a fire pit in the garden for when it cools down which we used. The kitchen is very well equipped and the oven is fab for making a dinner for a big family. Would definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

An amazing home. It was extremely clean, very cozy. Siobhan was so nice! The instructions were very clear. Happy to recommend to other friends. Next time to Lake District would choose here again!

My fiancée, our dog and I stayed with Liz for 3 nights recently. We absolutely adored the property, it was lovely and peaceful, it has wonderful surroundings and it is very peaceful. Liz is a lovely lady, although we didn’t meet with her during our stay, she was always on hand to help us with any questions that we might have had. The property is very modern, very clean and very well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was fantastic after a day of walking in the sun. Our dog, Mabel, was very happy too. There was plenty of space for her to explore and there is plenty of great walks, such as Ingleton Falls, which isn’t a long drive away. We had no issues with the property, or Liz, and we felt incredibly welcomed. We really appreciate your hospitality and hopefully we will be able to stay with you again in the future. Thank you ever so much again.

Wir haben zwei sehr wundervolle Wochen im nördlichen Teil vom Lake District verbracht. Von der Wohnung konnte man viele Locations anfahren. Zum Einkaufen war die Stadt Penrith nicht weit mit dem Auto. Die Wohnung war sauber und es hat alles funktioniert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Booked this for friends visiting for weddings. Host was very quick to respond to our enquiries. Lovely setting and very peaceful. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Maintained to a high standard and gorgeous setting

Lovely stay at Eden’s Annex. Very peaceful and exactly as described. Karen is a very good host and would recommend the place to anyone staying in the area.

A very comfortable place to stay with a huge TV in the lounge, comfy bed, great shower and nice helpful touches - milk and biscuits are always appreciated. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a great dispenser in the shower and easy parking on the property. After saying I wanted to go for a walk, Mark helpfully gave me directions to the local reservoir that can be walked around. There is a nice pub opposite this road (a very short walk, just around the corner) and various other places a short drive or longish walk away. I wanted a good walk so for me, walking to the local pizza and separate fish and chip shop was good. I’d forgotten that in this part of the world fish is often fried in beef dripping, delicious! After my walk back to Mark’s place it was nice to have a cup of tea and a couple of sweet biscuits. Mark’s place is in an interesting old building which has been painted and finished inside to a very high standard. Comfortable and perfect for my needs.

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

This cabin is a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend the hub tub as made it even more special. zero stress from booking to leaving. Well worth every penny.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this place. It is literally perfect. The cabin, the setting, the local area, the welcome gifts, the hosts friendliness and helpfulness and the squirrels. We can’t wait to return. We believe we have found a little piece of paradise.

Loved the stay, had the fire pit and BBQ on the go all the time. Had a great time with some beautiful weather and clear evening sky's for star gazing. Deffo would recommend.

this stay was perfect. the drive past Barnard castle is beautiful with loads of little cafes/pubs/shops ect in the village. On arrival it was super easy to check in and everything we needed was provided. host Julia was so friendly and responsive and made both me and my partner feel so welcome. will be back again!

Great location, great hosts, the pod was just as described. Lovely, peaceful and private location. The hot tub was lit and heating up when we arrived. Lovely short walk to the pub in Cumwitton. There is a short walk to the river and we spotted dear and a fox among other wildlife. The path through the woods only goes so far before it is blocked by fallen trees, you can either turn back or take a right turn up a steep hill to loop back. Beautiful walk, great location 😍

Stayed for 3 nights and didn't see one person, i even went for a walk around the area... its what I wanted, peace and quiet... beautiful inside and out. I'm definitely going again loved it, I could live there.

We stayed at this lodge for just one night, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was an amazing game of pool—such a fun and relaxed vibe in the lounge area. The homemade pizza looked amazing with great reviews and the selection of alcohol was excellent—plenty of choices to suit every taste. Everything about this place felt thoughtful and well put together. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely come back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy, enjoyable getaway.
