This is a terrific location in a nice area of the city center, right along a pretty canal. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The central train station is a 10 minute walk. The apartment has a relatively large living space with a bedroom area and convertible sofa. There was plenty of dishware and utensils for dining at “home”. There was also a washing machine but no dryer, so we did not use the washer but it was available with clothes pins etc. for hang drying. The bathroom had a clean shower with nice hot water and plenty of supplies like soap, shampoo and conditioner. Douwe was extremely responsive to our needs. We arrived early but he generously allowed us to check in while he finished cleaning the bathroom. He made us feel that he’d be available if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Amsterdam.

This was a beautiful place. It was much better than I imagined. It is the first Ike staying at a boat house and I don’t think we could have got a better experience. Both Rob and Karin were very responsive and took care of our needs immediately. The bedroom above is very spacious. Only thing to note is that the bathroom is only downstairs. It worked out fine for us. I highly recommend this place for a stay for max 3 people.

It was an incredible stay, dead center between Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid stations. 5ish minute walk from Tram and Metro, beautiful canal views, and the restaurant Red next door is incredibly good. Can’t recommend it enough.

Wir haben uns in dieser schönen Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Zu unserem Glück konnten wir sogar direkt bei unserer Ankunft am Nachmittag einchecken und nicht erst um 18 Uhr. So hatten wir noch Zeit, den zauberhaften Ort zu Fuß zu erkunden, bevor es abends mit dem Bus nach Amsterdam ging. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind hier sehr zu empfehlen und preislich völlig okay. Alles in allem würden wir diese Unterkunft wieder buchen. Haico war sehr freundlich und hat uns alles gut und verständlich erklärt.

We’ve enjoyed staying at Gerrit’s place. Host was friendly and communicated well. House has a lovely little garden 🏡, and beautiful surroundings 🌳🏡. It’s a peaceful neighborhood! highly recommended :)

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit im Ferienhaus in Landsmeer! Alles war super – das Haus war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage ist ruhig und dennoch nah an Amsterdam, was perfekt für Ausflüge war. Die Gastgeber waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Das Haus von Sophie ist sehr schön, der Garten und die Lage am Wasser sind einfach traumhaft. Es ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub braucht, sogar das Boot durften wir benutzen. Sophie ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, es hat alles wunderbar geklappt und war unkompliziert, danke dafür. Wir haben es genoßen und kommen gerne wieder.

We had the perfect stay at Monica’s apartment! It was just as beautiful as in the photographs, walkable location to everything central and super easy to find. Monica was very helpful with letting us drop our bags off ahead of check in & was responsive throughout our entire stay! We would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you very much!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit bei Michelle. Die Kommunikation war sehr herzlich, die Wohnung ist super schön eingerichtet, die Betten sehr bequem. An die Dusche mussten wir uns ein bisschen gewöhnen. Oostzaan ist ein beschaulicher Ort, toll zum spazieren. Wir haben die kostenlose Fähre von NDSM nach Amsterdam genutzt (danke für den guten Tipp). Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.

Helena is a great and hospitable host and she made us feel welcome right away. The location is hard to beat, with tons to do in the immediate area and all of the major areas of the city reachable within a 30 minute walk.

We can highly recommend Ingrid’s apartment in Amsterdam North. Ingrid was very friendly and personable. She sent clear instructions prior to our visit on how to find the apartment. We took the metro from Amsterdam Central station and then walked to the apartment which took about 20 mins. The apartment itself is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and in a quiet residential area, though there are quite a few passers by and cyclists but this was not a problem at all. One feature is Ingrid provides the use of two bicycles which are brilliant, it meant we could cycle into central Amsterdam via the free ferry in about 15 mins. Ingrid also provided recommendations for local restaurants/cafes which was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation returning.

We had a great stay at Joze’s Amsterdam apartment!! Great communication with the owners, a lovely natural light apartment with balcony and easy transportation options ( 2 tram lines within a 6 minute walk). Joze makes it very clear about the steep canal house stairs. The two flights are steep but there are lights and railings which I appreciated as I’m in my 70’s. We loved our stay in this peaceful neighborhood.

Where to begin? The location is devine, it is on the fourth canal so it’s still touristy but feels like a more local experience. It is right across from this gorgeous church and the bells sound lovely. I actually feel like this Airbnb is underrated. Could I give it 6 stars? The pictures of the Airbnb don’t have a good photo of the back courtyard, but it had lovely birds chirping and parrots as well as purple, orange, and red flowers. One night my mom and I had a dinner out there and it was splendid. The location is also almost right across from the Anne Frank Hous and I can’t believe the reviews don’t reflect that because it was so convenient getting to. I’m also an avid runner and the area, although full of pedestrians and bikers, was the perfect runners paradise. There was so much to see and it made me feel like I got to know the city more intimately. The host was also so nice when we first arrived and told us about all the amazing things Amsterdam has to offer!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat! It looked exactly as shown in the photos—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk from our daughter’s place, which made everything super convenient. Access from the street was straightforward, and the lift to the 3rd floor made getting in and out with luggage easy. Communication with the host was seamless and quick, which we really appreciated. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this flat, and we’ll definitely be back!
