My house located in a beautiful lakeside, and it is only 5 min drive to the Point Lonsdale beach and lighthouse. Take a short stroll to the local cafe. Ride your bike in the endless Bellarine bike paths. Visit the various wineries around, or wander to the many nature reserves in the Bellarine.

As you enter the ivy-covered Balinese gates, be prepared to be transported into another world! Also be prepared to walk the steps to the top. (70m incline) The view from the studio comes at a price and if you are prepared to walk the steps.... there's enormous gain when you reach the top. We have created a little tribute to our favorite places - Indonesia, Morocco, Spain and Mexico. Ballara #8 incorporates a fully restored heritage-listed 'boathouse' and features a pleasing outlook over the river with glimpses of the Port Philip Heads and the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse. Ideal for families with an outdoor BBQ / dining area and heated plunge pool (both under cover). This house is a wonderful place to stay summer or winter, with gas log fire and airconditioning in the upstairs living area.

Our place is close to public transport, parks, and art and culture and beaches. You’ll love our place because of the tranquility, the garden, the level of comfort. We try in many ways to live as sustainably as possible. We grow some of our food and have recently added bees to our efforts to pollinate our fruit and vegetables. What the dog doesn't eat and the chickens do not devour goes into the compost centre and back on to the garden.
