"The perfect" Air B & B. I have stayed at many - and this is as close to perfect as it gets. The outside is truly a peaceful and beautiful sanctuary, the garage arcade room is over the top fun, and the interior furnishings are high quality / on point - with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen is well and thoughtfully stocked. I could go on and on (and I'm picky!) You can tell when a host puts heart and soul into designing and maintaining a great home- and this is one of them! Amazingly - despite being so peaceful - you are only 5 minutes away from downtown Sebastopol!

A wonderful, well appointed home in close proximity to Healdsburg Plaza. We enjoyed the beautiful pool, fully stocked gourmet kitchen and felt very comfortable and right at home. Highly recommend.

This was the PERFECT relaxing getaway in the redwoods. The hosts are super responsive and caring, and the attention they put into details and comforts is wonderful. Would absolutely come again!

Previous reviews mentioned train noise but the house was well insulated so it was very muted. Blackout blinds and double-glazed windows did their job. The Folgers coffee set up was excellent and they left creamers. Beds were new and clean. Seating was limited, but we are a couple. Everything worked, especially the heater, since it was cold. We will stay again when we visit family nearby.

Kit's place was great for a family stay with our toddler and baby. It's walkable to a small market and a playground, there's good street parking availability, and it's easy to get to other parts of the Bay Area. We also appreciated the flexibility around check-in and check-out times.

Cute cottage, perfect for our family of four. We loved the back verandah and hot tub. The kitchen, laundry and bathroom had all we needed. Thank you Hilltop Haven for being our home away from home.

We had a lovely time at Renee’s serene retreat. The apartment was just right for a couple - well appointed, comfortable, quiet and the garden was delightful. Renee was incredibly responsive and attentive without being intrusive. Her guidance before we came and suggestions in her onsite guide were spot on. The location in Berkeley is ideal for walking, eating and relaxing. I highly recommend Renee’s place.

Heather's place was stylish, comfortable, generous in size, and extremely convenient for visiting my daughter at UC Berkeley. I especially appreciated the desk by a lovely window where I could do some work. I hope I can stay here again!

This was my first stay at an Airbnb ever. I spent a month here and it was great. The place is spacious, clean and well-stocked with all the necessities, including in the kitchen. The location is convenient to both Berkeley and Oakland, including the Ashby BART station, Berkeley Bowl and a local gym called Berkeley Barbell Club. I can’t imagine a better host than Joe. He usually responds to any message within minutes, and is proactive in dealing with any issue or answering any question. All in all, I highly recommend it.

I will summarize Renzo's apartment as a combination of a 5-star hotel and airbnb with the price of airbnb only. Extremely great value for money spent. The pictures didn't do enough justice to what I saw. It was super convenient and well furnished beyond regular amenities you find in an airbnb. I was offered a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. The heaters in the room and living room were topnotch. The bed is very comfortable Renzo was very responsive with communication I commuted everyday to San Francisco and Renzo's apartment is about 5mins or less walk to the Bart Metro Station. Super convenient

Heidi’s place is one of my best air b n b experiences. Her house is clean comfortable, snacks and cookware made for an easy transition. The apartment was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. It really feels like she cares about her guests and their experience. The unit is quiet and parking was always right in front. Really nice cafe nearby. Laundry mat was clean and easy to get a machine on the weekdays. I live in oakland but needed a place to stay for a month and it was a mini vacation staying by the lake. A few times I ran into Heidi as she was out walking her dog, she is a joy.

Jonathan’s place was really a great spot. It’s a large, especially for an urban property, spacious two bedroom, one bath house. There’s an outdoor terrace off of one of the bedrooms, large enough to hold 2 - 4 comfortably, and it’s nice to have outdoor space without having to head to a park. The kitchen is great, with all the equipment and appliances you need, and it’s large. The living room is cozy and relaxing, with one of the prettiest fireplace screen I’ve ever seen. Having a dedicated garage was awesome. It’s been a while since I’ve been in a neighborhood where there is a need for people to make every square inch of possible parking space count! It was great to not have to worry about coming back in the evening and start the hunt for a parking space. The washer and dryer in the garage, a full-size Whirlpool front loader washer and dryer came in very handy after getting food on my clothes at dinner. No time for a stain to set in.

Great communication - amazing house!!! We had such a great time. Awesome to work with and so helpful and could not have been better. We’ll definitely be back.

Airy artsy cabin in woods, perfect locale for a ladies weekend. Large windows make it feel like your one with the outside world. Close to all the beauty and cuteness that the Russian river valley has to offer.

Amazing place? Great heated pool, love the house has a lot of stuff and very well appointed and decorated. It has the best palm trees very safe, Our kid loved swimming in the pool. Strongly recommend for any stay! This is our second time here and will come again for sure. Love how the rooms are laid out, bathrooms.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Alexander Valley Lodge. The location was fantastic -- private, peaceful, and beautiful, while also being a close driving distance to Geyserville and Healdsburg and all the wonderful wineries in the area. The master bedroom is huge, open, bright, and surrounded in windows and decks with gorgeous views -- looking down at the pool area, and out to the woods. We paid extra money to heat the pool, but unfortunately, even though the day was pleasant (72 degrees and sunny), the pool was shaded by the trees, so we didn't spend much time in the pool. But on a hot, sunny day, the pool would be a wonderful way to cool off. It's smaller than anticipated, but perfect for dipping and floating. We enjoyed the hot tub. We comfortably sat all eleven of us around the dining room table off the kitchen. It was fun to be able to share a meal together. The living room is split levels, with a pool table on the upper level and the couches on the lower level.

We loved the place and will be back there again. The location is isolated but convenient to both Sonoma and Napa.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.
