The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. Prytz House: A spacious Victorian shopkeep's manse above what was originally a dry goods store, midway between San Francisco and the Napa Valley. At approximately 3,250 square feet (300 m²), including 10 total rooms, a 500 square foot (50 m²) roof deck with a bay view, & a rose garden patio, there's plenty of space to stretch out, both inside and out. Many water views. Furnished largely with antique and vintage finds from the late 19th century to the middle 20th century, there's ample charm.

The Beach House

This stunning house sits on a bluff directly above the ocean. Sit in the living room with a 180 degree view of the ocean, hear the waves as they roll in, watch birds of prey land on a cypress tree, and deer, foxes and other wildlife forage on the hill. Occasionally, see a whale or dolphin swimming off shore. At dusk, watch the sun set as you make dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances. Later watch the moon and stars come out as you relax to the sound of the waves.
